"This is a one of a kind place, incomparable to any other restaurant I’ve been to before. Situated in historic Herbe, beautiful views over the Bassin D’Archacon, it offers good food a comprehensive list of wines to choose from. We had grilled oysters and...artichoke with foie gras. Alongside a decent rosé from the Provence. Service is friendly. Excellent dessert (pain perdu) at the end. One thing to improve: the restrooms seem to date right back to the year this place was build. I will not go into details but most public restrooms in France will beat this place when it comes to cleanliness."

"Soirée entre amis hier soir, très agréable. Au milieu des 44 (zone protégée à l'extrémité de la presqu'île) ce restaurant nous a régalé accueil cool, un serveur sympa Paco et un barman connu à la baraque à val d'Isère bref une belle adresse sans resa / nos tapas hier : wok de légume, tigre qui pleure, jamón, brebis confiture, carpaccio de on s'est régalé !!"

"Visited here in the height of summer and had an awesome night. The food was delicious (nothing fancy of particularly memorable), but solid. Over the weekend the place turns into a great party with drinks and great music."

"We visited le rouf to lunch; at this time of the year this is only every week except Thursday, until about ende mai beginning juni, although some evenings open. it is very popular, therefore it is advisable to book. Parking...on the road here can be a bit fiddly, especially in high season when there is a lot of staus (live them extra time for traveling), but it is easy, approx. 100 m to park at the bus stop. we had the 15.50€ menu; there was no à la carte menu at this time; many restaurants make a 15.50€ lunch menu I think napolean has decided that all citizens should have access to affordable meals at lunchtime. menu has three choices of starter, main course and gloom plus 250 ml of wine per person. we had the quiche asacienne, which like quiche larraine, but has choucroute inc saucisse in him, and the quesadillas that were slim (I make them far to thick;) beginners were excellent and we will try to replicate them home! the main course was Rougail-Saucisse and a crumb de lieu noir both were excellent. most people had ice for the gloomy, but we had the nutella tiramisu since it world nutella tag this was ok. wein was also fine house red. service was attentive, friendly, helpful and fast. for poor people there is a flat access in and within the restaurants and there is space around the tables; but although the toilet has a sufficient garderobe, the toilet itself was small and a little dense, even for a capable body with normal bmi. we have been in the past several times and have absolutely no hesitation to go back; we will wait until late mai when the à la carte menu returns, which has great food."

"It was years since I had eaten here. the lookout is beautiful, good French pommes. but what I didn't appreciate was rough commercialism. this restaurant was always known for its special clam recipe, so that the people came for cuddling. now the famous cuddles were moved to the starter (entrée) part of the menu. so that after a taste of mushing they can comfortably move to a piece of fish instead of enjoying the significantly lower mushles. it is equivalent to chick fil a or kfc only chickenuggets as beside dishes. back where I grew up, we called the customer. what a shame to go on such a foolish trick. you feel like you're on the middle sea coast."

"We didn't really know what to expect and were apparently lucky to get a table for lunch just before 12.30. Nice view by the Jetty and oyster park. The service is really friendly by a team of young but very good waiters. The food is sublime quite original but full of flavour, very fresh, lot of interesting combination. Fish carpaccio was one of the must try. Definitely recommend all fish and seafood dish, even the hake for the kids menu was excellent. Didn't try the dessert as we were already very full, but will definitely go again next time we are in The Cap!"

"J'ai dînez une fois dans ce restaurant. Déjà le cadre est juste magnifique, la déco est faites de récupération, on a l'impression de manger dans une brocante. Le cadre est chaleureux on s'y sent bien! Et en plus la nourriture est très bonne. J'avais pris des tapas délicieuses!"

"We were walk in's on my wife's birthday last June with our two young boys. We were made extremely welcome even though the time of evening was not very suitable to have small children in a restaurant. We had a beautiful meal and cannot wait to return this summer."
