"I'm an American who has lived in nl for 3 years and has been visiting. the Dutch make a lot of great things, but steak is not in the rule one of the things they are known for. I prefer my steak medium rare or rare. all the other steak houses in nl I never went to ask in the past harassed how I cook my steak. when this happens, they immediately know that it will be a well-made piece of meat, and will be destroyed. safe enough, always comes well done. I ordered the T-bone (I think. wanted the rib-eye, but she expected it to ruin, so got the cheaper cut.) the waitress asked how I wanted to cook it, which was a big surprise, and I told her I wanted it rarely. I have perfectly meerte and it was pink with a hauch of purple. absolutely perfect. just as I wanted. I would have been happy with a hauch of pink, but these people did it right. they know how to cook their flesh. highly recommended."
