"Scales and mussels are enough of a reason to come Newport RI. Go there early to get a table, or wait happy. It's like that. Best seafood in the city, amazing both simple and complex at the same time. And very fresh and tasty with comfortable large portions, service is excellent. Nicole, who served us both nights, was efficient, caring and the epitome of hospitality. We would go there only for them.... (Oh and the deserts are amazing!"

"My husband and I came here on New Years Day and we both had fantastic meals. I got the sausage orecchiette pasta and he got the pork chops. Our waitress was incredibly nice and attentive. We would 100% recommend going to Jo's if you're ever in the Newport area!"

"In the last two weeks we have been here a few times and it is definitely one of the best breakfast places in the city. What do I love? Consistent, friendly, attentive service even if they? I am full. Note: If they are overcrowded, are you asked to order food? not only coffee, finally there are limited seating and it? what makes the place charming so go with it or not go. I went with him and appreciated the chance to keep my place with an order of delicious eggs breakfast I had never tried. Coffee! Simple brew but always delicious, never burned and full of taste! The cups they serve coffee make you want to stay and vice versa! I prefer this place if he's less busy than Sunday? but love the character, the charm and the fullness of the place! Weekdays are my favorite here! Fresh ingredients from bread to meat, cheese and herbs you can steal the difference in your 15$ breakfast here vs a 8$ somewhere else I take the fare 15$ breakfast with taste and freshness as not otherwise So rare to find!"

"Ordered the damped mushes, imer and lobsterbisque. I felt that the damped mushes were good, simply exaggerated by garlic and for me to say that it was alot of garlic. if I want to spend money on meeresfruit I want to taste it. two mushes were partially opened. made me leary to eat them, but I did it anyway. bisque had no lobsters as expected, but it was good. it didn't show a cheese as an ingredient, but I felt I could taste cheese. Maybe it was the heavy one and spiced. the croutons were a welcome topping to cut the strong aromes. hubby enjoyed his steamer and didn't whip while they were sacrificing them. "In the late evening in newport and the whole family starved, so we decided to grab some pizzas before we get to our accommodations. we ordered a half- cheese pfefferoni and a sausage and a green pfeffer. in my opinion, the big ones were a little bit small (15” and a bit futile, but that's newport. the quality was very good. beautiful crust. sausage and green pfeffer had good ingredients. my son said the personal was really nice. the location was a rustic place near the city. overall we will try again on another trip."
