"Great food! Vicolo Matt has probably the best Pinsa in Otranto, the best fresh fish and a Superb Tuna Tartare. All that on top of having a very friendly staff, made a must-to-visit place in the area."

"Overpriced. We went because the restaurant looked lovely . Felt a bit of pressure to order more expensive dishes on the menu but we resisted. One of group ordered fish served with potatoes. The portion of potatoes was small so he ordered more which arrived after our meals were finished and the charge was 5 euro for a side dish of potatoes. Met a local later who told us the restaurant very expensive for Otranto and geared to tourists , not Italians. Better value elsewhere"

"We chanced upon Girodiboa while looking for a restaurant in Otranto on a very busy summer evening. Elia warmly welcomed and took good care of us. On our second visit, the chef, Domenica, came to see us and even offered to prepare some dishes that were not in the menu such as beignet de bacalao (very sublte and tasty) and the tartare of tuna with mango slices and bacalao with arugula leaves and balsamic vinegar these were just heavenly! An explosion of flavors! At the end of our meal, Elia served us with a refreshing digestif made of thyme, which he made himself. Out of the 4 nights in Otranto, we came back to this restaurant twice for dinner. Happy conversations, good food and excellent service make this restaurant our happy place in Otranto."

"Charming little restaurant in old town of Otranto. We were seated right away and the QR code for the English menu. Everyone was extremely polite, friendly and helpful! We ordered the baccala sandwiches and the Marzen beer! Great for a very hot day. Extension beer and wine menu and actually had Kona big wave from Hawaii… Aloha and Mahalo for a great lunch!"
