"This eating experience was amazing.Not only was every single dish cooked to perfection (and we tried a lot of them) but the presentation on plate was outstanding. We had the duck, venison, beef cheek, pork, barramundi, sea perch and angel hair pasta ... so enraptured by everything... I forgot to take photos. "Friendly staff. The food comes in very quick – well it should be since they are serving us with raw meat on hot plate for us to cook. Thus this is ideal for quick meal. The store is quite small with limited sitting so not so ideal for large group to sit together. <br>

The food is average, not too expensive, but also taste okay. My favourite would be the beef pepper and salmon pepper rice. If you are looking for something more, I recommend the combo cut steak and chicken for only $14.50 with additional $4.90 for regular drink and rice/chip/salad/miso soup. <br>

Two tips for newbies: 1) quickly mix your rice or flip your meat as soon as your food arrive, you don’t want to cook them too late or else having one side burnt and the other raw. 2) make sure you differentiate between the garlic sauce and the sweet sauce before adding them to your meal. While they are really good to have, having too much of one is also not good. I have the misfortune of not checking the label before adding too much of the garlic sauce. It was my mistake really since they did label them. The sweet sauce is thicker."

"You can tell how good a sushi shop is by the crowds and Tokyo Station at lunchtime is like Heathrow. People everywhere, grabbing their sushi rolls or waiting for hot meals. Eating their food at the limited tables or having a picnic-style lunch at nearby Central Park. Yep, Tokyo Station is certainly a hit with the locals!<br>
They have a good range of gluten-free options and at $3.90 for a 4pc pack, they're pretty cheap too. All food is packed fresh each morning or made to order if you're finicky or just prefer your sushi fresh from the kitchen. <br>
We also tried a dessert that Tokyo Station markets as "Japanese cheesecake". It was delicious but is really only a simple lemon cheesecake mix poured into a pastry shell. Nothing I couldn't make at home but at $3/cake, it was a nice end to lunch on the run."

"I have only ever had nasi goreng from here. About 6 times. Everyone at work gets it too. $10.90. So good. Huge portion. Actually I have also partaken in the 2 for $10 offer (late afternoons) and purchased 3 x prawn rice paper rolls and 8 x tuna sushi. Very yum."

"Good value fresh delicious food at Sushia Izakaya. The assorted sashimi was as if someone had just gone to the sea and caught the fish for you.. so fresh and delightful. The fillet teppanyaki was so lush and just melt in the mouth. We also had soft shell crab sushi. Everything were just so yummy. Im still drooling thinking about the food there. Good selection of sake too."

"..... and sommelier Ben Husband and I don 't go out very often and we don 't own a yacht or a multi million mansion in Peppermint Grove, if you get my drift. But we both know food and know it very well. My husband chose this place as crown jewel to conclude an extraordinary day. It was absolutely delicious and Ben chose the perfect wines, a riesling with the oysters and a regional blend 'cab sav ' with steak were outstanding, to accompany our choice of courses. Speaking for myself: The oysters, the wagyu beef tartare a highlight, unforgettable. However the main course, steak, did not live up to its price tag, the most delicious and best cooked part having been the fat, beautifully rendered, but sadly, rather than the medium-rare to rare requested, the steak was more on the medium side. in all however, absolutely delicious. But the strawberry based pastry definitely took the crown. All in all an unforgettable experience ."
