"It was a 50min waiting to get space, but they have a virtual waiting list so you can actually track where you are in the line over your phone. Super useful if you are not next to the hostess while you are waiting. After we had set ourselves, our waitress immediately took our order and the kitchen was also fast so that we eat in no time. They also played live music, so the timing seemed perfect. We ordered the Poke Volcano and Moco Loco. For drinking we have the Mango Lava Flow and Chili Mango Margarita. I think the drinks were the best part. You were both super delicious, but I would recommend the lava flow if you want a sweet treat. The food was good, but I guess I expected more with all the hyped reviews. The ambience is great for a date night or a night with your friends. It ended about $40 per person for a duck and a drink"

"This restaurant is located in the Westin Hotel on the lower level adjacent to the pool. Food and service were consistently great on our multiple dining experiences. The staff is hardworking and friendly. Our food and cocktails were consistently excellent. We enjoyed the live music in the evenings and hanging out at the bar and meeting new friends."

"We were fortunate to get a booth close to the window so we could better enjoy the view, but unfortunately, the booth was not made to accommodate 4 people. Two in our party sat in chairs with their backs to the window. The restaurant could use some updating, and I understand that may be happening, so maybe they can address the seating situation? The service was very good friendly and professional. The food was also good. We enjoyed everything we had."

"We stopped in for a mid-week brunch. The view is outstanding and made the meal worth it overall, however the buffet is overpriced $41 each) and only slightly better than an average hotel breakfast buffet. Additionally, there were a lot of very aggressive birds that made the meal much less enjoyable. The waitstaff and greeters were very friendly and the service was exemplary."

"I enjoyed the ahi poke bowl at this pool/beach bar and grill. We chose a table with both ocean and mountain views. The poke bowl included sushi rice, seaweed salad, sweet onions, nori, ginger, avocado, and of course, raw diced tuna. Service by Mike was excellent. Some of the servers seemed distressed; I wondered if it's because the resort changed ownership recently, the beach seems to have lost its former beauty, and the resort seemed emptier than I expected. As in many restaurants we visited in Hawaii, birds watch you eat and hover, waiting to attack your plate the second you leave the table. Visit the restroom before your meal, since you can't leave the table in the middle of the meal."

"This is a unique and delicious sandwich! The Hunter ham sandwich was the best ever the local sourdough bread is a must! The sandwiches are generous portions and so fresh…and the staff are the most friendly on the island! Make sure to stop here for lunch!!"
