"I went in on a Friday afternoon around 2pm was sat immediately. I ordered local mineral water the bubbles were light very refreshing. Next I ordered Passion Margarita came quickly what I did not know was 2 for 1 yippee my next margarita was watermelon. Included with my meal was fresh chips and house special of bubbling cheese and beans, with 6 house made salsas 3 in varying degrees of spice and 3 savory. My main was a Beef Carpaccio it was amazing best I ever had topped with artichoke fritters and caper powder. Drinks were very balanced. Service was amazing."

"The chefs know what they're doing! I started off with the beet salad which had a perfect texture with the honey, goat cheese, arugula and crumbs. The fish fillet was amazing. It was perfectly grilled and almost tasted like it had some kind of homemade zesty barbeque sauce on it. I would definitely have it many times over. My girlfriend had the fajitas de res. She loved it. I had a taste and the beef was tender, good cuts, salty but not too salty. Well done!"

"We visited this restaurant on our first night in Puerto Vallarta. We were staying at a nearby all-inclusive, but wanted to get out and experience the real food of PV. El Barracuda did not not disappoint and I would say we had our very best meal of the trip here. We got there on the early side; around 6pm, and were taken immediately to a table with a gorgeous view of the ocean (I think almost every table has a view of the ocean). The entire waitstaff was very friendly and efficient. Our appetizer was my single favorite dish; seared octopus and mushrooms, served with garlic butter and baguette. It was AMAZING. I had the smoked marlin tacos which were fine, but my fiancé got the Baja Shrimp Tacos and they were absolutely delicious. This is a place we will absolutely return to on our next visit to PVR."

"Earlier in the day we were walking down a side street a few blocks from the Malecon on the way to visit the church and saw this place....it was closed at the time but looking in the windows, the decor captivated us and we learned it would be open for dinner so we made the plan to return....we all are sooo happy we did! The feel of the restaurant is as if you had stepped off a side street in Paris into a cozy full service bistro. As we were just there in low season, I could imagine this is a reservation only place during the high season based on our last trip to PV a few months ago. The mussels with a white wine and cream sauce was delicious and shared as was the steak with tar tar....for mains we enjoyed the croquet ...small but very filling.., steak special of the evening with a pepper sauce cooked to perfection, chicken (french name...sorry...you will figure it out)...fall of the bone delicious meat in a sauce that had us ordering a side of bread to assure we got every drop! and for dessert we shared an order of puff pastries filled with ice cream and covered with chocolate....oh so wonderful. The staff efficient and friendly...when we return in January, we will return without a doubt!"
