"Visited with my husband august 2013 after a recommendation from a friend. Arrived to be told we had to rent towels found out when the bill came these were €10 each) shown to our bed which was very comfy! However service was super slow. Not given a drinks or food menu and it was 40 minutes before we were asked if we wanted to order a drink. Drinks expensive but that’s to be expected so That’s fine. Had some food which was nice. Again service to order further drinks pretty slow. When the bill came the bed charge was €120. We weren’t told of this charge for the beds however did expect a charge but thought we might have received SOMETHING for the bed cost. Some drinks package, or even some entertainment?! It was basically a really comfy bed and some background music. Could have paid €10 further down the beach and took my speaker. Sorry Nassau :"

"Beautiful view, but horrible food (saltiest I ever tried and I couldn’t even finish). Also, there was bad service- it’s a touristy spot and the servers are clearly not happy serving them (and while I’m an American, my husband is a Spaniard, but the waiters were clearly annoyed to hear us speaking English). It’s a shame because Sunset Ashram next door is amazing."

"Wonderful restaurant at the end of a dusty road, but so worth it, the view of the sea and Es Vedre is amazing. The paella is delicious and very good service too. Well recommended"

"Firstly my review is for the beach and not the restaurant. Apparently they are run differently. We are Ibiza regulars and a few years ago we were recommended cotton. I wish I checked the reviews more thoroughly before booking! We reserved a ‘double bed’ which...costs 290euros for the day. We tried to confirm our booking and ask about the minimum spend this was very difficult as the staff didn’t speak any English (again this isn’t problem when you are in a different country but when you are paying a lot of money you expect at least someone to be able to help) so they just nodded to what we asked… We were told that the beach club opens at 10am and they hold the beds until 13:00. We wanted to make the most of the day so we arrived at 10.30… the staff members were still cleaning the area and were clearly not ready and we were rudely told ‘not ready, come back in an hour….’ No apology or checking our name for the reservation etc. At least we could put our stuff down on a table and have a swim in the sea (which is beautiful and clear by the way, lovely little beach cove We finally have a bed, we receive our free bottle of champagne which comes with the bed… the staff poured this for us and it was warm… not a great Start, again no apology just a giggle and she put it back on ice and walked away. Also they obviously don’t show any pictures on any website or social media for a reason, I couldn’t even take pics myself that’s how unattractive the area is. Like other reviews state, you are on a crowded public beach where general public can pitch up as close to your bed as they need to which really takes from the ‘luxury’ price tag and facade. The cotton beach club sign is dilapidated to say the least and we thought we were at the wrong place when we arrived knowing the price tag attached. Rubbish on the stairs leading from the restaurant to the beach too. Kitchen opens at 1300, you can access same menu as the restaurant. Lovely food, can’t fault it, a bit overpriced but where isn’t in Ibiza! We had a couple of wrong drinks orders arrive and this took ages to get the correct drink. And we were still charged for the wrong drink! In the end we couldn’t even be bothered to try and get that drink taken off the bill due to the language barrier and overall disappointment from the day, we just wanted to get back to our hotel (hard rock hotel, amazing, don’t know when we left lol) Lastly we ask for the bill, we wrongly assumed (like any beach club we’ve been to which is a lot of them in Ibiza) that this was minimum spend so we expected a difference of circa 20eu to pay… so you can imagine our shock when the total bill AFTER the bed was 330eu. (Again please note we have no issue paying this for the right experience, but this was far from a good experience So overall we’ve paid circa 600eu plus taxis for a cheap bed on a crowded beach with poor service who couldn’t communicate with us. To top it off at the end when we asked for a taxi to be ordered we were told it could be a long wait and they don’t order for us we need to go back to the restaurant order there and wait… Also please note: I leave multiple 5* reviews on here and I really hate leaving poor reviews like this but I really don’t want someone else to go and be as disappointed as us. There are so many amazing places for the same price or cheaper where customer service is their main focus!"
