"Despite the warning of our waiter that we needed to be hungry, we chose the €350 per person tasting menu. Very pricey indeed, but each course was scrumptious, and quite substantial. Very often French cuisine never tastes as good as it looks. But the chef here manages to keep a "grandma's goodness" feel about his dishes. They look quite beautiful, but you want to lick the plate afterward. Sadly, our waiter's warning was correct. Each course was so large that we regretfully had to skip the cheese course in order to make room for the seven desserts at the end of the meal. And the service was just wonderful - smiling faces who became trusted friends by the end of the evening. All in all, a memorable and very satisfying experience (as it should be for €350) - but we had to skip breakfast the next morning!"
