"I'm a fan Subway but this is the first time using Chester Forgate street and it was terrible. Both inch subs came with hardly any filling and drowned in sauce. I've never had a problem like this with any other stores. No wonder their...score on just eat is poor. How do you fail at making a sandwich??... embarrassing for the manager to not have the basics covered in their establishment."

"I really don't know how we had led without rose farm in the last difficult months. they delivered our food to our door without price when we were not able to visit the load. as our situation has improved, we would give them a list and buy them very friendly for us. Although we were beaten away by the feet, the workers we met were always good kindness. you eat is of the highest quality, beautiful fresh fruit vegetables, a very good Deli counter and of course its excellent meat wing. many thanks to all at rose farm, we are so happy to leave them and whatever the future keeps them on our further support."

"Went to Red Lion Dodleston for Sunday lunch, which was average because of a couple of little issues. Myself had the roast beef, which was very nice. My wife had the roast turkey, which was incomplete. no stuffing rapped in bacon). There was also not enough gravey for the size of meal. To which my wife had to go to the counter to ask for more, due to no staff checking if everything was ok. And to top it off, no extra gravey arrived. Other than that it was ok."

"One of the best (if not the best) caffes I have ever made. for beginners it has a warm, welcoming and community feeling, it is animal-friendly, the workers know the menu inside, amazing coffee and they serve alcohol! (so try to taste the tequila hot chocolate if I don't drive). the owner is lovable and has customer service perfected. then the menu Cheese Toasties, everyone you can imagine and with amazing combination of aromen and options. genie. this place is really a hidden gem and I would be there every day when I lived closer!"

"Christmas Lunch Menu is available at Ness Gardens Botanic Kitchen Cafe between 1st and 22nd December 2021. Bookings and pre-orders only available. 2 courses with coffee and mince pie for £15.95 or 3 courses with coffee and mince pie for £18.95. Four of us have enjoyed an excellent Christmas lunch at Ness Gardens Cafe today. From the choice of three starters we had three of the creamy roast chestnut soup topped with crispy red onions and served with bread and butter and 1 ham hock terrine served on a watercress salad with piccalilli. For the main course from the three alternatives we all had the traditional roast turkey served with roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, stuffing, pig in blanket, gravy and cranberry sauce. For desserts from the 3 choices on offer we had 3 of the Irish cream Liqueur Tiramisu and 1of the traditional Christmas pudding with brandy sauce. Coffee and mince pies were included in the price to finish with. Everything was beautifully cooked and presented. The staff were welcoming and attentive and the service was very efficient. All in all the meal was an excellent experience and great value for money in a really nice venue. Free parking is available and the building has good disabled facilities."

"Excellent service, delicious food and fairly good service overall. Can be a little slow when busy but generally very good. The ambience and decor of the place is lovely and there is a reasonably good selection of ales available. Certainly one of my favourite pubs in the Cheshire area."
