"They say the staff makes the restaurant Tonight, in 2 degree weather, my JEEP conked out on me with a dead battery. I walked back into McLadden’s and asked the hostess if any staff had jumper cables and the bartender/bar manager Ryan didn’t hesitate to say he would help me; and enthusiastically, I might add. He brought his car around in 2 degree weather and sure to his word helped me jump my truck and get me home safe. Is McLaddens a good spot for drinks and Bourbon Mac N Cheese? Yes. But do they have amazing staff? DOUBLE YES!! So next time you tip your waitress or bartender, remember that they might be the one bailing you out of freezing the death in the middle of Simsbury on a Saturday night..."

"Kanes is one of a kind, literally no place like Bob's. Always a fan of their meat selections and recipes. Their meatloaf, chicken patties, lamb chops, high quality milk selection are constant fav. I was late in ordering Thanksgiving dinner, but Bob and his team took us in and made us our awesome dinner! The best Thanksgiving turkey dinner we've had. Good place. Good people!"
