"I used to work at Elly’s a few blocks down the street, and I always remember the servers mentioning that Gales has fantastic food! So I always wanted to try them out. Well, yesterday, my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, but due to the cold weather we decided not to go out; instead, we agreed on ordering carry out. We ordered ribs, soup, and different sides; our food was fresh, well-cooked, and delicious!!! Also, our order was well packed and prepared. I highly recommend GSIC."

"Cool place and good food, but the whole experience was ruined by the “new waitress” on our table and a few others near us. She would disappear 10-15 minutes at a time. Forget our drinks orders. Forget our appetizer. Mix our and other tables food order. And almost every time she showed up on our table, she informed us “Omg, I’m sorry, it’s like my 3rd day.” This line does not work after the third time to hear it, especially when we can see that you are standing at the bar, chat it with men after our order and not put them in."

"Great experience but music was too loud. Couldn't talk over it. Granted, it was right after the Kentucky Derby but once that was over, the pipes in music was just too loud. Food and drink were fantastic."
