"&Sushi is quite well known among the corporates in the area. Serving sushi and Japanese classics like donburi rice bowls), salads, udon thick wheat noodles in broth) and yakisoba stir fried noodles in a sweet soy based sauce). Nearly everything on the menu is gluten free and a lot of vegetarian and vegan options available. Servers are very nice and friendly and greeted me with a menu as soon as I came in. I was happy that all the side dishes offered were vegan so along with the Teriyaki Tofu Donburi $16) I also had the miso soup $3) and kimchi $3) which is hard to find vegan as they normally contain some sort of fish stock or sauce). The donburi looked delicious and only took 5 minutes. The tofu was glistening and the salad was nice and vibrant. I liked how there was a good balance of rice, protein, and salad since most places serves mainly rice. Tofu was sweet and sticky from the sauce and starch batter. The tofu was a soft style tofu so very moreish and creamy. Salad was just right with just enough dressing that didn't pool into the rice. The kimchi tasted clean and more on the fermented side. The downside was the quinoa rice as there was barely any quinoa and the miso soup was very mild tasting just white miso with one or two wakame seaweed inside). The meal overall was good. It left me feeling healthy yet still very satisfied and filling. I also decided to take some sushi from the cabinet home that afternoon and was glad that there were a lot of vegan options. All the sushi was nice and light. Good ratio between vegetables and rice with lots of crunch from the very fresh vegetables. I highly recommend this place for when you feel like something healthy and light yet satisfying. It is a very chic and cosy place hidden away in City Works Depot. A great spot in the Summer months for some sunshine with very instagram-able food."

"Their set dinner menu is very affordable, and looks like they have a great lunch menu as well. We ordered teriyaki chicken, teriyaki fish and sashimi set. Each came with salad, rice, vege tempura, spring rolls and miso. I recommend the sashimi dinner set. We also got a plate of sashimi/nigiri too which goes well with sake. Service is excellent. There are surprisingly a lot of seats inside, with an upstairs area that is sometimes available too. The place is popular among a variety of customers, from couples to families with toddlers."

"Went there on Saturday for my daughter's birthday. Our 1st time dining in a proper Japanese restaurant. Sushami was fresh, food yummy and excellent customer service. Our server Shuta was wonderful, friendly and helpful. I had forgotten to ask when we came in if we could organize a birthday dessert for my daughter, so when we ordered our desserts I mentioned this and asked for a small bowl of ice cream as that's all she wanted. He was very friendly and said that's ok on the house. They bought out a lovely plate with Happy Birthday written on it in chocolate with some ice cream and a piece of brownie. Definitely will go back. Best experience in a restaurant I've had in a long time."

"I'll go there for lunch 2 3 times a week as it's close to where I work. my favorite is raw salmon nigirizushi means hand pressed sushi and misu. It is made absolutely fresh, in fact they make it only on the back. Price was fair and their customer service is on site. after my first sushi there a few years ago (or so) I don't like eating sushi anywhere else. if you prefer to eat there, they have a nice seat outside and you can have free warm green tea..."

"This Takapuna Japanese restaurant is very good The food selection is wide and caters for most taste buds. Prices and middle of the road not cheap and not to expensive . The tempura prawn Cutlets were excellent as was the friendly service"

"I am not a vegan or even a vegetarian but I am always on a hunt for good vegan or vegetarian food and more so importantly veg food that is not bland. After hearing a lot good about Fatima's, I had to go there and it definitely was above my expectations. I ordered vegetarian chawarma and it was so good and filled with flavours of the middle east. Loved it. Highly recommended and definitely going there more regularly now"
