"I've been going to this Japanese restaurant for years for a quick and delicious bite. I always get the Teriyaki Chicken Don which is only $8 and completely fills/satisfies me. If I'm with a few other people we usually share some gyoza's or some other sushi which ranks high above sushi any chain could produce. It's very good value. Lovely owners but perhaps a lacklustre atmosphere - the place doesn't look like much but serves every need. A small and authentic layout.The sushi are around $2.20 - $2.50 a rollTakeaway is available"

"The food at Sozai is consistently good without being particularly adventurous; you will get good standard Japanese food. The service is erratic though not the staff as such who are nice and polite, but rather it is almost impossible to have your meals arrive at the same time. At a recent visit my entree and main came which I ended up eating all at once before my husband even got his entree and that we had to ask for several times before it came (it was sushi). Similar delays happen at each visit so from now on we will only order entree and ask it come at same time before we even consider ordering main. Atmosphere is casual and relaxed but don’t sit near the door as it does a roaring take away trade. Really nice food but can be incredibly frustrating!"

"For my birthday celebration, my bestie took me here with mutual friend Adam for my treat. We were there for the 'all you can eat' menu and it took a bit of searching and asking for me to work out the gluten free bits. I was handsomely fed on shredded crab salad, miso soup, sushi and sashimi although I think I shocked the waitress a little by asking for repeat appearances of the sashimi. In my defence, each small plate had three small slices of fish on it, so I felt justified in asking for more. And more. For dessert, I had the green tea creme brulee. Heaven. Heaven! OMG, I wish I'd had time to order another and risk looking like a fat pig because it was DIVINE. I'm hoping to drag the family there in the very near future for another round. I recommend the New Yorker which has the strange combination of salmon and creme cheese, but works! It's obviously a favourite with the young men because they were there in droves, being fed huge platters of sushi. It's good value at about $50 per head for all you can eat. Bring your appetite."

"The sushi here is as predictable as you would find in any chain, and it is fresh and fine. The udon noodle soup was in need of a boost. The only extra chilli available was a powdered concoction containing mainly salt."

"Highly Recommend. We went for dinner with Groupon voucher. Not bad, traditional Japanese cuisine. Worthily value, 6 dishes with warm sake. The portion and taste of sushi, sashimi, main course are excellent plus friendly service.<br/>Will come back."
