"I don't know how I never tried this place being a Portland native but this is a go to place for Korean bbq in town! The biggest thing I would recommend is calling in for a reservation ahead of time, but also an FYI you may not always get through the line since they are short staffed. This Korean bbq location is a bit more expensive than the ones nearby but I would say you get what you pay for. I always go for the option B because of the skirt steak, and I personally only eat this and the chadol (beef brisket). The portions are fair and not overwhelming which honestly helps pace as you're eating and probably their food costs. You receive the typical banchan (side dishes) and rice. You can order veggies on the side: lettuce, zucchini, or mushrooms. There is a parking lot shared with another restaurant but it's fairly hit and miss if you will find an open space. Other than that, it's street parking. The service is great once you sit down. Upon walk in, there isn't always a host so expect to wait about 10-30 minutes depending on how busy it is before you are noticed and getting seated. If you do not have a reservation, expect at least an hour wait. They don't always notify about wait time because they are running around serving tables at the same time."

"My partner and I just had our first Double Birthday and I booked Saucebox for the occasion. The service here was outstanding as it always is. They have a few mocktails -one of my sober guests was over the moon for the virgin love drop. This is my favorite place in general and I always drag new people here, I want to specially thank Chee(I believe was her name) for making it extra perfect this visit. The prices are a bit much but once in a while if you can afford to itâs definitely worth it."
