"We stopped here to have coffee. I’m always tempted to have the churros. But we had only coffee which was nice. The chocolate bits at the top instead of using chocolate powder made it taste very chocolaty which was nice. It’s got lots of tables both outdoors and indoors on the beautiful Lygon Street."

"I can't honestly say how many times I've been here... a lot! They serve gelato and ice cream in cups, cones and waffle cones and take away containers too. There are so many flavours to choose from and you will find one that suits your mood. I love my amerena (sour cherry) and chocolate, it's my go to on a warm night. I have never had a bad ice cream served to me although the services can be a little cold at times, but the queues can be long and the customers slow to make their selections. Give the shop a try, the calories will love you!"

"I wish I could fairly review this restaurant we got multiple referrals to eat there and how great the food is. We arrived on time for our 7pm reservation and were seated quickly. Then we waited 40 minutes for drinks. We ended up leaving. Disappointing to say the least."

"I have been eating here for several years and always had good service and good food, UNTIL TODAY! Tried the Grease themed afternoon tea, a good idea very poorly executed, to add salt to wound the fondant on the biscuit had a huge human hair wrapped through it, when I complained I requested something else instead of a biscuit as this had put me off , got totally ignored and given another biscuit ! when challenged ged advised we only swap like for like with no apology! I then spoke with the assistant Manager whose attitude was disgraceful, poorest level of service I have ever experienced, very defensive, argumentative and sarcastic. Asked for a box to take my buttercream topped cakes home, got paper bags, when highlighting to Assistant Manager advised we don't give out boxes for afternoon tea! joke I was hear last week and we were given boxes for a bacon roll. I won't be returning as when spending £60 for 3 people to have a relaxing afternoon in todays difficult financial times , my day was spoilt and not relaxing in any shape or form. Really disappointed as I live close by and enjoyed popping In here on a regular basis, will have to find somewhere else. Afternoon Tea with a side of attitude is the best way I can describe my experience. See my hairy rock and roll biscuit picture enclosed!!!"

"I’d been here a few times and my last review wasn’t that kind but this place actually isn’t bad. We popped in for a coffee last weekend and ended up staying for lunch. The vegan options have remained the same heart of palm coxinha, feijoada and moqueca but they are staples of Brazilian cuisine, so it’s nice to be able to get vegan versions. I’d love them to do vegan pão de queijo like another cafe in Melbourne does though. The moqueca was pretty nice with a pleasant tanginess to it, while the feijoada is satisfactory, but ultimately I’m not so excited by the food that I feel like rushing back. I like the creaminess of the coxinhas and the flavour seemed to have improved/increased since my last visit. It’s great to have Brazilian vegan options, not a particular common thing in Melbourne, and I hope to see more become available."
