"Love this place. Really nice vibe. I try to get to the kids' swimming lessons earlier just to get coffee across the road. Love their homemade cookies. Friendly team. My husband went with the kids the other week and had the crumpets and said they were the best crumpets he'd ever had. I'll have to go back for them!"

"Unbeatable Vietnamese food and unmatched efficiency by the staff! It’s a bit loud and busy but that all contributes to the atmosphere, the food comes out quick and is cheap and amazing. Worth venturing off the pho menu because while the soup is awesome their stir fry’s and pork chop combo plates are crazy"

"I had heard a lot about this restaurant, and everyone said how great it was, but the service really left everything else down. it was difficult to place an order, to catch a coworker to order more drinks or get water and at the end it went elsewhere for a drink. the meal times were left to fall on the table with little explanation (if we did not ask) and we had no warning when the meal was finished when the communication was terrible."

"They make certain dishes good like the caramelized fish and filled calamari, but others not like the ginger chicken and the early roll. I would have rated this place higher, except that woman who works there. she's been there for a long time, wearing the red dress, looks unhappy and argues when she makes the order wrong. it was about a night when we were part of our net and, without asking, they were up the bill and asked if we would like to eat home. I was shocked. that is completely unacceptable. I understand. it's a slow night, they want to go home early, but the fact is that we pay customers and if that's the way they treat customers, no wonder they don't come/dining room!"

"It was mid week and we didn’t feel like cooking and decided to pick up a pizza. This place is a favourite with the locals and deliveries were flying out every few minutes! We decided on a pizza with prawns and chorizo and it was really nice- the base is crispy. We also got some sides of cheese balls and chicken wings which were both were also good."

"I would not consider the food at Bau Truong as Vietnamese cuisine because they are commonly available in Thailand, Malaysia or Singapore. The menu was extremely long and I randomly ordered a few dishes which sounded nice. <br>

The prawn with rice crackers tasted alright at the beginning. However, the taste of the artificial five-spices power began to overwhelm and wear your taste buds down. I would recommend that they stop using it. The signature grilled chicken was cold and tasted artificial because too much tenderizer was added. Disappointing!"
