"Nice place lovely ambience great staff spoiled by the horrendous prices I’m sure £8 a pint is robbery and wine too! Kids small orange £3.50 the meals are already expensive but nice however the Prezzo burger is not worth £12.50 a few fries and a burger !!! Never return at that price I don’t mind if it’s a great meal not this !!! Staff rushed to get us out at the end tho the place was only a third full"

"We visited the New Inn following a little tour of Shardlow looking for food. This pub does not disappoint. The menu is varied with something for everyone. We both chose the Steak and Scampi, incredibly good value for money and very generous portions, the steak...was cook perfectly for me. Will definitely return to sample more..."

"Food was excellent as usual. Service though was dire. We were presented with our meals by a meathead who didn’t place the plates onto the table but dropped them onto the table, the same with the cutlery. When I looked at him he stared back then walked off. Normally the service here is good."

"Since approx. 5 years have not been here and what a joy it went back after so long. so a wonderful place to go for eating and be friends with family and friends, bonus is also dog friendly both in and out. the food was wonderful, served within a good time and also came out a beautiful temperature. has a reasonable price and a large selection on the menus. the employees are also wonderful, courteous and do not cause annoying when items have been ordered. they come by and ask them if everything is in order and deal with any complaining. highly recommended!"

"I got the lentil and butternut lasagne which was very miserable to be honest. Barely anything between the lasagne sheets and was dry, like it had been sitting and popped into a microwave. Good amount of options but until I try them I will be rating low based on today's experience. Garlic bread was fine with it. Quiet ehrn we were there but there's a children's play area which is nice."

"Visited Sat afternoon on 20th Nov for coffee and cake. The place is lovely and welcoming and the dining area even has a cosy wood burner. Walking in the smell of fresh coffee was fantastic and it tasted just as good. There was a wide range of cakes, sampled a couple between us and they were delicious. The lady that served us said that they were planning to widen the menu again soon with paninis, salads etc. so we'll definitely be back to try them. Had a little wander round the grounds after and the surroundings are so peaceful, so all in all a very restorative outing. We'll definitely be back again and again."
