"My partner and I were visiting Alton towers and searched for vegan options nearby not expecting too much. We however came across the star at cotton which has marked vegan options on the menu including 3 mains a creamy mushroom and leek pasta, meatballs and tagliatelle and banana blossom (vegan fish)and chips. I had the meatballs and my partner had the banana blossom and chips. Both meals were absolutely incredible!! You could taste how fresh the ingredients were and it was our fav meal out for a while. For pudding we each had a vegan brownie and ice cream which again was gorgeous, really moist and tasty with nuts on top and a caramel sauce. The pub itself is gorgeous with velvet chairs in the dining room and the staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. I only wish we lived closer so we could go again and again!! "This place is a hidden gem! the owner is the most friendly man and the food speaks for itself. I visit regularly and have the falafel packaging and chips. the falafel is so tasty with the correct amount of cripple on the outside and softness on the inside. the homemade chili sauce is also to die! he recently introduced lens soup and wild beans into the load. I just tried the lens soup and it's so authentic and tasty. they have to wait a little while in the rule, but since all the food is fresh it is worth it. the owner has recently begun to take online orders and to do delivery. if I could give falafel crispy five stars, I would."
