"A lovely pub with great real ale. Very nice inside, and the hosts are wonderful people. We ate off the early bird menu, and the food was absolutely excellent. The lady who served us was a really nice person, the food was really good, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it ... Definitely planning on a return visit very soon."

"Pizza's were good, the rest of the food was terrible. Vegetarian Sunday lunch consisted of roast potatoes and a slice of parsnip cooked in beef dripping, Yorkshire pudding, also cooked in beef dripping with a side plate of boiled carrots and boiled cabbage. I was given the choice of beef gravy or none. The Cajun Spiced Vegetable Wraps (with Tomato Salsa, Sour Cream Dressing, Salad Garnish and Chips) was actually a pot of leftover vegetables (peas, carrots, cabbage and peppers) in gravy with a hit of chili sauce, no tomato salsa, no sour cream dressing, no salad and a pile of chips cooked in beef dripping, there were three tortilla wraps too. The chairs in the pub were stained and sticky and the tables needed a good scrub. The restaurant looked nice though. The worst thing was watching one of the kitchen staff wipe his hands and face on a tea towel and then use the same cloth to wipe a plate before plating up. Avoid if possible."

"Without a doubt,the best Thai we've ever had.the staff were great over the phone.when the food arrived. Its was superb. We ordered 31on the menu. Sweet and sour prawn. Absolutely superb. The wife had a panang chicken. Again top quality food. Thanks sow and John. Great service"

"Bought crispy aromatic duck was inedible burnt black should never have been sent out. Phoned and spoke to manager to complain said I would bring it back as it was disgusting she said she would not give me a refund but could have the next order free of charge. Sounded reasonable so I agreed. Two weeks later phoned to order crispy duck again and reminded them of there promise. They denied ever having any complaints and called my a liar trying to get a free meal. I said if they looked at their records they would see that I use them regularly and had ordered crispy duck two weeks previous. They say they don't keep records. They wouldn't honer their promise made me out to be a lier disgusting customer relations will never use them again."
