"We went with high expectations, being a place of several wonderful memories enhanced with delicious food. Unfortunately, the seafood platter was terribly disappointing; the salmon and salad were inedible, the crayfish was stringy and dry, I got a bad mussel. What was supposed to be a lovely evening at a beautiful location reminiscing delicious food, was terrible ."

"We had a big family union dinner organised couple of weeks before, the food was simply amazing and excellent customer service..... they looked after us really well by serving hot and freshly cooked food without making us wait.Lamb Sheekh Kebab and Goat Curry the simply the best in town.Highly recommended place for families as there is a little open play area outsise which keeps kids busy while you enjoy dinner with your wife."

"We made a late decision to have a Saturday night dinner at the California Kitchen and came away very impressed. The location next to the water at Hillarys has always been one of the best and California Kitchen has matched it with a good, not over-expensive menu. The service was the real winner here though. Very pleasant and attentive waitresses, with our food and drinks served in good order."

"Kids had the kids Fish and Chips. It came in a cute box with pirate patch and drink for $12.90. Size was appropriate for kids and they loved it. Adult size was generous but prize on the higher side with $17.90. Overall a good experience...when hungry at AQWA."
