"Highly recommended! We ate here for dinner and it was absolutely divine. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. We ordered the vegetable pancakes, biminbap and tofu kimchi, all of which was delicious! The portion sizes were also massive. They also gave us some complimentary little appetisers before our meal arrived and some ice cream at the end what a treat! All the staff were super nice and friendly and the food came out so fast."

"Based on the website and previous reviews, we expected Membawang Corner to be our restaurant on Langkawi and were so happy that it is located near our hotel. When we arrived, we discovered that it moved to a new location and is now in Lot 33 (it is the same road, just a few meters away). It is located in Lot 33 Bistro Bar and is very easy to miss because there is only a small sign and there is a shop and a hotel. Unfortunately, the vegan options are now also less: there are three different sambale options, a herbal curry and discarded tofu. My husband had the Sambal Berlado, who tasted ok, but since everything was deep fried, it was a very heavy meal. I had the curry and didn't like it at all, it was very, very oily and just didn't taste well. Although we were disappointed, we visited some days later, because there were not many vegan options near our hotel. We had the broken tofu this time. It's made of very soft tofu and so it really resembles broken egg I didn't really like, but my husband thought it was good. I would like to add that the restaurant itself is beautiful, the decoration is demanding and there are many artworks on the display and even to buy. The vegan options are clearly marked and this is something, especially now that many things are still unclear about some restaurants and vegan foods are hard to find. The staff could be a bit more inviting, and we just expected more from this restaurant. Visited in August 2022"

"I'm shocked at the poor reviews of this place. I ordered the vegetable moussaka and chicken plate. Both were fresh and excellent. the chicken was grilled to perfection and the moussaka was flavorful I should add I am a very picky eater Service was Langkawi style So slow and inefficient. The serving girl had absolutely no idea what she was doing. I hardly ever say this, but if she's not a friend or family member the owner should fire her. Other tables, others tables of LOCALS complained about her to her face. THEY said she was slow. No. Langkawi service is not Western style as in fake smiles, prompt service, over attentiveness. But this service was poor to another degree. She forgot orders...a simple order of drinks would take like 15 min to fulfill. It was simple. You go to the fridge and come back with the drinks. the restaurant had like 4 other people in it. It was ridiculous."

"Guys you can get some amazing food here! As you can see in other reviews and the description you can pay as much as you want. As those people are really friendly and the food is unbelievably good I recommend to donate a fair price. The donation box is located at the counter inside. Another thing I liked very much was, that you have to wash you dishes. That 's just fair considering the rest! Greetings Max"

"The salad here is amazing!!!! A good mixture of freshness. I love it especially that the dressing comes at the side so that you can decide how much you have done. We also had their homemade granola with fruit and soy milk. And her oatmeal with soy milk. Yummie yummie! They are very transparent about what they put in food (the cook assured me that he cooked everything in vegetable oils) and are happy to veganize things when you discuss it with them. Unfortunately, they are only open for breakfast and lunch (or very early dinner if you are) Enjoy!"
