"If I could give a zero star then I would. I have no idea where all the and star reviews came from. The fact that some refer to the restaurant' suggests that they are fake since this is a TAKEAWAY restaurant. I ordered...a shish kebab starter which tasted of and had the consistency of reconstituted meat. Next up was a curry there is no point in specifying which one as my gut feel is that they will all look and taste the same. Opening the lid, I was faced with a thick glutinous looking brown soup as if it had been put through a liquidiser. It looked totally unappetising. The taste was, well, just hot. No subtlety of flavours that you get with a proper curry. Mouth feel was as if I was eating baby food. Supposed to have had chicken in it. I fused around in hope and came up with some square lumps of reprocessed tasteless rubbery chicken. The pilau rice was tasteless and dry. The papadum was OK. Never again for me,. Truly dire."

"I love the station coffee house. It is a hidden gem and I hope everyone uses it. I love how it is also a little shop for the locals. The service is 100% from the lovely staff. I love the outdoor hut seating arrangement. I visited with my mum and dad. I had the lentil and bacon up with a bread roll and it was so thick, tasty and warming. My white hot chocolate with all the trimmings was a nice treat. I had room for a little tasty cake it was a spanish tarte thing and it was nice. I learnt that it was curry night in the evening aswell 430 till 730. Think they have a food night on every Wednesday? Anyway this is truly a hidden gem : I reccoemend a visit."

"This was just what the doctor ordered after a weekend yomping across Northumbrian hills and countryside. I had to ask the nice cashier what vegan options were available on a rainy Sunday evening and he kindly gave me plenty to choose from, but I went for the classic Vish and Chips. Overall I was pretty pleased with my choice and sat eating whilst watching the RNLI lifeboat come ashore. Doesn’t get much more seaside than that…"

"I'm looking for something you can take for a walk. Staff quickly led us to a delicious vegan CLT (cheese, salad and tomatoes) sandwich with Mayo. They packed it comfortably in Cling film, instead of in a well sealed tub of vegan Koleslaw also. Very delicious and delicious sandwiches and just £4.00 per. EDIT: Today again eaten and eaten. Had cheeseburgers with vegan Coleslaw, Pommes and Mayo. Had chocolate cake and a chocolate ice cream for afters. Everything was in the place, delicious. Updated by previous rating on 2023-03-23"
