"Service ist sehr nett! Auch das Essen ist super ! Ich komme gerne zu dem Buffet denn es gibt eine riesige Auswahl zu gutem Preis und das Restaurant ist riesig und sehr schön ! Manches Schein auch fertig zu sein aus der Tiefkühltruhe , was mich allerdings nicht stört denn alles Fleisch und Fisch ist Frisch , und wenn man möchte kann man es sich sogar frisch vor eigenen Augen zubereiten lassen und an den Tisch bringen lassen! Immer wieder gerne !"

"I can recommend the rib-eye steak at the very best. Do not be intimidated by the fact that it is (actually) intended for two persons. You can do that with some effort alone. A beer (or more), a pair of potatoes and a fuckillion funny sauce. Geil."

"We looked up this bistro which is situated in a large health food type of shop specifically for it being vegan friendly and, having travelled all the way from Belgium that day, we arrived feeling hungry at 5pm (two hours before closing time) only to be told that there was no food available except for some salad. We were by the stools near the kitchen end when a lady came out to inform us of this and I was about to ask about the salad when she just went on to speak to a couple who had arrived after us, and they proceeded to order the salad. We were ignored and felt offended and walked out. I speak German so it wasn't about a language barrier. We intend to visit Trier again but won't go there...."

"... so I found myself at the Best Western Hotel in Trier on 17.09.18. How to get environmentally friendly by train and train, car I really prefer. But only for the parking lot would be 4 times the arrival ticket due. And it was safe: I don't need a car this week. And unlike expectations, the trip worked very relaxed and smoothly. From the bus stop to the Best Western Hotel it was just a 1-minute walk. I had already informed myself about the hotel on the internet. Conveniently located, right next to Trier Altstadt. The outer appearance: Well... voluntarily I would not have booked here. Until recently the house was part of the Penta Hotel Chain. The name of the train at the building is only indecent, still well recognizable. That didn't make a good impression. Breathe in the lobby in the early evening. Although quite dark, but modern and very well maintained. Reception and bar merge. There are different divided lounge corners, here you can sit comfortably as a group. The seminar started immediately. After that, the hotel management received us for a refreshing aperitif with Gin and reported briefly and interesting about the planned renovations since the takeover of the Penta. This explained and relieved the first impressions. For dinner our group was covered on the quiet back terrace of the hotel. This summer no problem sitting outside in mid-September. During registration I submitted “vegetarian” food requests. Was it a mistake? The dishes with meat all looked better. But with the closely calculated seminar participants full board I would not eat the meat offered anyway. On this Monday there was a hot potato soup as an appetizer. That was okay, fine and strong. Potato soup Fresh parsley could not fool about the “fruit cube taste”. At the main course there was a generous part of vegetarian finished corn bags in the finished broth with very firm, tasteless vegetable filling. Vegetarian mouthbags Less, properly prepared would have been more. Best opportunity to enjoy the desired diet. That was nix and 3 of the 7 mouthpieces were enough for me. The increase on Tuesday evening: I was looking forward to the announcing appetizers: Potato Buffer, Räucherlachs, Sour Cream. Fresh baguette and butter were served as the day before. Then the appetizer and I was glad to leave Baguette. The finished potato buffer muted between these disgusting “Pringels Chips” and Pappmasché. Undefined, really bad. This “something” went back completely. The smoked salmon couldn't get him out, not good quality. The supplier of Sourcream and Baguette was the most tolerable! It followed my vegetarian pizza with spinach and feta. TK Pizza To call this “singing” as a pizza was a personal attack on every Italian pizza baker! A dry, hard prefab. There was never the life of a yeast in it. Spinach dead, feta cubes without own taste. To decorate this prefabricated pizza with a dark long hair, you need to create! No photo, I didn't want to spoil my table's appetite. I was through fast, almost everything was left. I had alternatives for the next meal in my head! Sure you can feed a week like this, but I want and fortunately don't have to! For ordinary, clean single room with full board, 161,34 € were shown on confirmation of participation. The single room for online booking about € 80, per night via the seminar provider safely cheaper). Stay well € 80.00 for breakfast, lunch buffet and dinner Wednesday and Thursday as buffet. There was air. The breakfast buffet was versatile and good breakfast takes the Point Award “Essen”. Lunch was offered as a buffet that fits the seminar break and is simple. Leaf salads fresh, the rest: Convenience. On Wednesday there were also evening buffets, on Thursday the seminar provider invited to an established Trier restaurant a very attentive to prevent the hotel collector). But I had a date tonight with my ex-girlfriend in Trier. Conclusion: A really great seminar with a harmonious supporting program city tour, wine tasting in the oldest wine cellar “United Hospitien”, dinner in the “Wirtshaus zur Glocke” on Thursday evening! Spacious double room for individual use, something “come in the years” but clean and well maintained. I was able to book my “Ex-Friend” in my room from Thursday to Friday. Staff at the restaurant and hotel service are all very friendly, helpful and hospitable. If you want to explore Trier cheaply, centrally, well maintained and with proper breakfast, you can book here. The overall impression lifts cleanliness and service."
