"Szechuan Palace in Vero Beach, FL has the BEST Chinese food in town. Hands down, this is my FAVORITE restaurant. I cannot get enough of their sweet and sour chicken. Oh, and their green beans Szechuan style.... Excuse me while I wipe the drool from my phone. Yes, they are really $11. BUT you get a HUGE plate of them and again....they are to die for. (My father once asked, 'How hot do you get the wok? ', because he was trying to crack the recipe. The taste was good, but he could never get them soft enough. The woman/owner/manager replied, 'You make wok hot enough to burn hair off forearms; then wok is ready '. Noted."

"This was our second time at Thea, taking our son and his wife. They ordered the arancini since she's from Tuscany, and even with her high bar, they loved it. My wife had the pasta with seafood and really enjoyed it . Our son had ordered the veal Milanese but missed the last one, so chose the chicken Milanese and gave it high marks. We shared an orange cheesecake and coffee, all of which were generous and very flavorful. The only glitch in service was they were short of chilled white wine "buckets", so we ad libbed with good old ice around the (byob) bottle. Otherwise, our server and trainee took great care of us."

"Had high expectations for this place and ended up being the worst experience I've had in Vero at a restaurant. The service was very slow and our waitress would just forget to bring us things and then never come back. She said she was going to bring us bread then never did then a food runner brought us our food. My wife had asked for a glass of wine she sampled 10 minutes before our food came out and she never even remembered until we were done. I didn't have any water with my meal and had to ask the food runner because our waitress was nowhere to be found and food was getting cold. Me and my wife order angel hair pasta and got spaghetti how does an Italian restaurant mess that up?! Also marinara sauce was sub par, and the chicken piccatta had no depth of flavor I've had better piccata from frozen isle at publix...Also after talking to the manager the waitress didn't even apologize she just interrupted my wife and said you shouldn't have made plans for after dinner. Which we had given a 2 hour window from our reservation time. Not the experience I wanted trying to celebrate my wife's birthday..."

"There were four of us tonight. The waiter was very personal. Meals were ordered after drinks were served. Bread came and a guest asked for butter on arrival. 15 minutes later. Salads and soup took over 20 minutes to come. One of the salads should be a house salad, and all served were Caesar. In the middle of salads/soup 3 of meals arrived. Lobster raviolis were on their way.. Eight minutes later, waiters arrived to tell us that the kitchen ran out and was a new box on the way. Three completed meals and watched the last dinner. The offer of the free desert does not make for so many foul-ups. We eat here 3-4 times a month. This is the third time in so many months that one of our meals was either late or wrong."

"Good that we came back two days later. the first day had the cauliflower appetizer was amazing. great light home page salads. special was an amazing kichererbsen kartoffel tomaten spiced bowl. the desserts should die, the chocolates were amazing. I had the dark chocolate expresso cake just perfect. next time I had the chocolate mousse cake. the hummus was perfect, the special sweet potato bowl. the za atar sandwich was one of the best veggie sandwiches of all time, like an Italian crispy sub with oil and oregano without the meat, but just as good."
