"We went here with a family of six, did reservation upfront. The atmosphere is nice with Indian music in the background. The food here taste really good but the quantity is less for the price (expect $50 $80 pp). We ordered Dahi puri (recommended), aloo tikki chaat (recommended), samosa chaat (recommended), Malai chicken tikka (taste is good but you get 3 small pieces for $15.99), bhindi do pyaza (recommended), garlic daal fry (average), laal maas (recommended), garlic naan (recommended). The deserts and drinks were also amazing."

"We had never eaten Ethiopian until this week. All of the recommendations we received from the gentleman working were perfect! We had a sampler of the vegetables and the meats. The three of us were full, but content. Will definitely be back!"

"Dangerous Delicious Pies on 875 I Street, N.W. in Chinatown (DC is one of my absolutely favorite places. I'll call ahead to find out what vegan vegetable cakes are offered. Now it is ratatouille and/or yellow Curry Tofu. The delicious cakes come with a side salad. The cake crust is excellent, with the taste. This award-winning cake place also offered many vegan sweet cakes selection with blueberry and mixed berry often rated as the best. Vegan cherry cake is also a bit hit with many. I haven't tried the vegan sweet cake yet, but I ordered a southern pecan pie for the holiday. It was such a hit that we will do it next year. (Apple and pecan are two of the largest sellers, along with Baltimore Bomb. Vegetarians can order quiche, ivory cake or sweet cakes. When I was here a few days ago, many people ordered quiche. I wish there was a vegan version of it! I traveled to the other side of the country looking for vegan sparse cakes and had no luck, not even in Victoria, B.C. Instead, the vegan sparse cakes were in D.C.... And they are excellent every time, freshly baked daily! Dangerously delicious Pies wins great awards every year and with good reason. People are on the door to get a piece or two cakes. During holidays there are lines from the door for people who pick up cake orders made 2-3 days before. The price of a savory pie slice is about $8.25, while the price of ordering a whole savory pie is $35. A sweet cake slice is a little less, the whole sweet cake is $30. The manager working on I Street is great. He is always helpful and ready to help customers choose from so many choices. Lunch and evening are busiest in I Street. Sitting is very limited, especially the window counter or above the place where orders are placed. I Street location in Chinatown is not open on weekends. The vegan savory pie is so big that I forward to find out what is available then go an hour for exercise, all for a slice of ratatouille (or yellow curry tofu pie and salad. It's great every time, and I have a hard time to decide what I like better. I haven't been to the H Street site yet, but I've often been to Chinatown. It is close to Gallery Place underground station for those with the train. Very much worth a visit! Updated from previous review on 2017-03-08"

"I love the vegan pho that they have here. The broth is unique and delicious. Sometimes they don't put very much tofu in the bowl, which is my only complaint. They have vegan summer rolls and tofu nuggets too that I usually get as an appetizer. Highly recommend!"

"We had almost everything and it's all delicious. Do not sleep on braided purple cabbage or lavender!"
