"Just before 11 a.m. on a Tuesday, restaurant was only half full, but they must have been underoccupied because the waiters were out of their feet. Even still we were brought cold water immediately without demand and the waiter returned within 10 minutes to take our order. You have a seperate vegan menu (on request) for both breakfast (available all day) and lunch (available from 11 am). We ordered the Vegan Burger and a Vegano sandwich on white bread (other options available). Food was brought out in about 20 minutes, the burger was delicious and the pumpkin was a nice supplement, but it fell apart after two bites. The sandwich was also good, but would have been better roasted. Friends were also very good. All in all, it is great that they have a dedicated vegan menu, but by reading through the ingredients, it is clear that they have only seen what they are currently in stock that is vegan and put them together to make some vegan meals, I.e. mushrooms, avocado, tomatoes and pumpkin function in a lot of dishes and there is no free milk cheese or mock meat well processed for those who try to avoid sitting. as a secondary note; the burger was served on a wooden board and while not normally a concern for me, it had a great crack in it, which gave me the ability to clean properly and in turn, it is the suitability for serving food. "The Chinese food is normally good here but the sushi was terrible and overpriced for what you get. Tasted like it was made a day ago and has been sitting . I wouldnt recommend getting sushi here. It is not fresh and the rice was stale."

"Not easy to find it, we lived in Airlie for years, but did not make it there. So finally went there yesterday and found the food fantastic. Everything, including ambience was very authentic. Loved the poached spring roll as an entree."

"For a cup tee on a walk and was pleased to see vegetable milk and a vegan borrowdale teebrot. beautiful location over the lake with a lot of outside seat to admire the view. I hope they'll come back to the breakfast."
