"The portion size were decent enough for us to order four dishes between the two of us. They had decent vegetarian options. Potato Bravas and the green beans were really good. Appetizers were a-okay."

"Absolutely loved this quiet little tea house just around the corner from the Minister just up from the main shops; an ideal location. Most options were vegan on the mains menu, nearly all drinks could be made vegan most of the cakes on the daily cakes board were also vegan...so many options it was hard to choose! I got the tofu teriyaki mayo donburi bowl (with miso soup of course! which was super tasty a really good size portion, then I couldn't resist a vegan matcha blondie, which was yummy, although I think you'd have to be a bit of a matcha addict like me to appreciate it. Will definitely be going again. Edit (04/02/22 Was super excited to hear they were doing a Veganuary 3 course set menu it did not disappoint! For a very fair £20, we had the most delicious traditional Japanese food unlike anything else I've ever tasted. For mains I had the Umami spaghetti; was better than any Italian pasta I've ever had! And for dessert the matcha zenzai, which was so bizarre to me, but really nice (though as in my previous review, I'm just a teeny bit biased towards matcha things! Would definitely recommend actually they're running the Veganuary menu into March so still plenty of time to try it! Updated from previous review on 2021-12-09"

"Ordered a take out from here as it was just down the road from my hotel, I took a chance on the mutton staff curry and OMG what a flavour sensation! Sadly I live in South Wales so won't be able to get delivery very easily . Sorry I couldn't add photos of the food but I ate it all but I did photo the empty pots and left over bones."

"I'm just done. really interesting, unusual sorts offered. for example, I had just heavenly curry pasta, which was complex and tasty. two of us had beautiful pizzas, one of the scavengers he enjoyed quite and one of the very peri pork belly. a new restaurant that is currently a hidden gem of york."

"An upstairs room that's clean and bright. As it was a hot evening, I didn't order bibimbap (my favourite Korean dish). We decided to share some crispy fried chicken and spicy squid with rice. The fried chicken was as described but it reminded me of chicken McNuggets. Our rice was brought and waited for our squid. It took a while to catch a server's eye to enquire if they had forgotten our squid. They had. We asked for some fresh, warm rice with the squid. It was okay but not worth the wait (or the money). I have read reviews criticising the prices here, so I won't join the pile-on. However, whilst I applaud the entrepreneurial zeal in opening a Korean restaurant in York, it's a very competitive city and you need to be setting high standards to build a sustainable customer base of people who come back regularly. I'm not sure that Oshibi is delivering the goods. In summary, a disappointing evening out and not too satisfactory."

"Not the cosiest and not the best I’ve ever had but certainly excellent value for money. The staff are super friendly and the food is really quite nice for what this place is! The lamb madras used to be excellent there and it’s definitely a great option for cheap Indian take away. I go there fairly regularly over the years."

"In the last 20 months I had the pleasure to buy new audio devices from the sound organization. the service and the advice I was given by matt was excellent. I recently visited the loading in york to have a demo of new speakers donator D7.2 and turntable rega planar 8. I decided to buy this 2 items along with atacama furniture. After everything arrived was dull said he would come to me to house to install the audio. when I live in kendal in the lake district, I thought that would be an excellent service. a date and a time were arranged for matte to visit me. he gave me advice on what loudspeaker cable to use and how to set up the rotating one. I will use the sound organization in future definitiw. Thank you."
