"My companion and I had dinner here one evening during our stay in Zurich. It seems to be a family-run place. It is one of the few restaurants we ate in (only kosher or vegetarian ones) that had table service. The menu was fairly typical of a dairy restaurant with pasta, quiches, soups, sandwiches, salads, desserts and beverages. My companion ordered vegetable soup and baked salmon, and I had the spinach quiche. The food was tasty and portions were large, The quiche had an egg baked on top of it -- very unusual, but a nice idea. My portion of spinach quiche was so large that I brought the remainder back to the hotel we were staying in, and there was enough for a main course for both of us for dinner the next day.Service was good, and prices were reasonable (for Zurich)."

"I had the vegetable burin which is fine. The rice is not a traditional Indian one but it's ok. The atmosphere is nice and the services is warm especially to welcome the late diners. The price is expensive for Indian food."

"Authentic Chinese food from Szechuan province. Excellent quality. Enjoy it very much away from home. We had hot pot for dinner and dishes for lunch the next day. All very good. The staff were efficient, too."

"I was there for dinner with two college students who work in restaurants. I can cook pretty well, and so can they. I've got a good friend who had a restaurant, and I used to help do the shopping. We're well - travelled and know a bit about quality. We ordered a plate for 3 and were shocked at the poor quality of the meat, the lack of spices, the quantities on the tray. We complained, and they brought out more meat. The service was nice, the beer good and cold, the white folk separate from the black, of whom only 2 were eating in the restaurant while the place was full of blacks at the bar and outside. Too bad...Would be nice to mix a bit, but it was clearly not the done thing. Maybe the better deal to order separate dishes, who knows? We'll try the Meskarem around the corner and hope for better results. Too bad to have to write this, but it's just honest. I hope they improve, I really do."
