"Pleasant bistro in main town square. We both had a tender duck confit which came with nice mixed vegetables and frites. The house red wine was also reasonable. We felt the quality price ratio was very good.The bistro also provided bar services and several people were sitting outside with drinks and sharing plates of tapas type food."

"This is a farm restaurant serving their own meat. We went there last night 15th Feb. We were six. When the waitress came to take the order, she asked me first, so I said, The menu at 24€ please, Garbure (local soup) and the Piece de Boucher . Reply: I just want the starters. I 'll ask again later. No 'please ' and very abrupt. The soup was ok but a bit weak. However, three of us ordered Le Piece de Boucher, which means The butcher 's selection and thus should be a nice cut of beef. It was supposed to be a Pavé or a rump steak, which is a single muscle and contains little or no fat. All three were so tough and fatty that even with a steak knife it was hard to cut and it was also full of nerves as well. It was even harder to chew. They should change their butcher. The potato was a bit undercooked and the mush that was served with it tasted of bland semolina mixed with an unknown vegetable. Tasteless. The other three said that their veal was also very tough. I told the waitress who brought us a dessert and the bill, that the steak was very tough. All three plates had left a large uneaten piece of meat so her reply was one of either ignorance or a couldn 't care less attitude. All she said was Oh . She was also Sullen and said nothing to appease us. Whilst the presentation was very acceptable, the quality of the food was not. We will not go again."
