"Wir sind bei einem Zwischenstopp in Bamberg, nachdem wir zuvor in einem türkischen Imbiss wegen unseres Hundes abgewiesen worden waren, zufällig auf dieses kleine chinesische Restaurant in Nähe des Hauptbahnhofes gestoßen. Und etwas, was selten ist, ist geschehen. Sowohl meine Frau, als auch mein Schwager, als auch ich haben in diesem Lokal neben leckerem bayerischen Bier, das wir nicht kannten, auch außerordentlich schmachhaftes und schnell zubereitetes Essen zu uns nehmen können. Und das außerordentlich preiswert (jedes Gericht nicht teurer als 5 Euro) und reichhaltig. Und selbst mir als Veganer wurde etwas Adäquates geboten (besonders leckerer Tofu). Beim nächsten Abstecher in Bamberg werden wir wieder da sein."

"Indian place with colourful decoration and great food. They especially have quite a choice of vegetarian dishes. Some other dishes are vegan or can be veganised. The food is flavorful and delicious, but friends have told me they think the portions are too small. I don't agree to be honest, I have never left there feeling hungry. Still it might be something to keep in mind. The typical dish costs around 9 to 12 € and includes basmati rice. It's close to the train station which means it's not close to the inner city. However in a small town like Bamberg not close is not far either. Best to take a bus from the main bus station to the train station and walk the rest of the way"

"What more can I say than OMG!!! This is the most delicious Greek food in whole of Bamberg! We went there last summer for the first time, and I can't wait to go back there again. Big portions for great value. Were sitting outside for...our dinner and it was just very enjoyable!!"

"Apostos vegan Bolognese is the best I have ever eaten, and the vegetable pizza deliciously generous toppings including new potatoes. The pink gin splash was nice to see and taste divine. Sad I am unlikely to be back in Bamberg as I would like to be a regular costomer here."

"The location of Weinstube Zeis is great. Unfortunately, the food did not match the quality of the location. I ordered a Lachsfilet (Salmon) with salad. I was shocked when the waitress brought the meal. The size of the Lachs portion was extremely small (see my...review of the Hofbrau in comparison) as was the salad. The Lachs was extremely dry. I know that Lachs is difficult to make, but this was the driest, saddest looking Lachs I have ever eaten. The wine was good and the service was okay. They may have had an off night, but I will not make a return visit. There are much better places to eat in Bamberg. I would avoid this one unless you just want to sit and enjoy a drink by the water. Go elsewhere for a nice meal."

"Came with a very large group, and we all got served quickly. i ordered an Apple Schorle and a large salad with turkey meat strips. Good reasonable prices and the food was very filling and tasty. Conversations inside were easy to hear and the place...is very cozy. Nicely decorated, good place to eat inside or outside."
