"We went for my birthday, booked for 22, cut it down to 14 but 20 ppl turned up! Staff were quick to accomodate myself Nd my guests and had no dramas at all... The food was amazing!!! Kids all thoroughly enjoyed the night as did the adults that attended The variety and quality of food was well and truely more than what we expected. FIRST time here and will definately be back again One suggestion would be to have guests pay on entry to avoid the end of night confusion and money handling. Or allow the bill to be individually split up for guests instead of the bulk bill at the end leaving huge groups to seperate and tally up costs and payments etc."

"A friend and I came to lunch last week. I have an order of the chicken-seeded noodles, and they were delicious! good portion size for the price, lots of meat and vegetables in the plate. had simply enough flavor in to open the taste buds, which seems difficult to find in this country. this is a takeaway shop, there are a few seats to wait for an order and a few seats to eat on the way, but definitiw not a place to bring the family to dinner."

"We all go to restaurants primarily for the food - so we hope and expect that it will be good. Well, Darun Thai's food is delicious. I went with 3 other friends and everyone really enjoyed their meals. The restaurant's décor is new and very nicely thought out to convey that 'Thai' feeling and the staff and service was wonderful. I don't think I've ever seen a review of any restaurant where someone, somewhere, has a bad experience and gives a bad report - however I can only report that Darun Thai was amazing! I had my fav Pad Thai and this was one of the best I've had anywhere. I'd sure recommend this restaurant either for a romantic couple's night out, friends get-together, or even a family. They also do take-away."

"Picked up take away last Saturday night. We took advantage of their u and me package which gives you two curries, 1 rice, 4 poppadoms , 4 onion pakoras and a naan bread at a reduced rate from the standard item price. I had the butter chicken medium and my wife had the chicken saag mild. This is the second time we have eaten take away from this restaurant and, like last time, we found the curries delicious, the poppadoms well cooked and the naan bread the best we have ever tasted. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Well done!"

"We got some take away the other day. It was lunch special... the chef was very nice, i could explain and check what i would get.. food was delicious and the potions were very generous. I will keep going back. I'm glad that we have new good restaurant near by."
