"That was the only restaurant we saw in the city of bregenz that had good veggie options. I ordered the smoked vegetables that tasted very nice, although I wish there were some proteins that might have blown up some? I also got an salate that was very big, with an unusual ingredient or two that made it brilliant. the waiter was very friendly, and was pleased when I praised her vegetarian food. I go back when we go through the opposite, and I am glad to know that there is at least one good vegetarian friendly restaurant in the opposite."

"Went for the second time with two friends last Saturday. Very nice location. We sat outside. The menu is very good, only rather few starters. Obviously lots of fish. This is of course particularly a fish restaurant. The service is fast, friendly and very efficient....Our waitress remembered the whole order with with starters and mains for three people by heart. I had the fish soup and Zander Filet. The courses arrived promptly. The fish soup had many ingredients, fish, shrimps and muscles, was a little salty but very tasty. The main course (fish) was a very large portion and exquisite. The taste was luscious and the consistency of the fish was almost buttery. It didn't quite dissolve on the tongue. The vegetables were also very good in presentation and taste. Together with good drinks and company this is a fantastic place to eat and spend a few hours. Heartily to be recommended!"

"We were the first time in this 'Berghaus ' which consists of a hotel and a traditional restaurant. The owners and the service were very friendly. The place was rather busy and we were the only foreigners. The two of us each enjoyed a Wienerschnitzel with...French fries and a mixed salad. All good quality and honest food at a great price. The restaurant is a casual sit down service with views to the valley and the almost monumental Kanisfluh mountain on the other side. The final bit of the road which leads to the restaurant is narrow and in parts one lane only. However, it is worth the trip if you are in the area."
