"Came on down to downtown Buffalo for my cousins birthday dinner. I haven't been here in awhile this was only my second time here. If you come in a group try and carpool...parking is hard to find. I was lucky enough to find off street parking. We did make reservations ahead of time. Everything went smooth. Our waiter Tory was amazing! She was very nice. The food was good! We all had a great time."

"My wife and I wanted a nice, relaxed place to sit outside and have a fun dinner. We were very disappointed with the service. It took our waiter about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity while waiting to order drinks). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and water, but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We haven't seen our server in a long time. We felt our starter was a bit delayed when foodrunners showed up with our starters. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But by this point we were already in the middle of the meal. The food tasted good. Nothing out of the ordinary, but not bad. I admit the nachos were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered had breadcrumbs but that was missing. Fortunately, the server took care of it pretty quickly. We were never asked if we would like to have our drinks refilled. And after dinner we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. Neither of the problems on their own would have been a big deal, but together it made a somewhat uncomfortable experience. The waiter was nice and apologized. They also put together the starter for us which was lovely. Maybe it was a free night or maybe a new server but can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambience was nice."

"My daughter and I had lunch. The fish had a strong ammonia smell. We were with other family members celebrating a birthday and didn't want to ruin the evening. I'm not going back to eat there. In addition, the place was not very busy and it took about 45 minutes to arrive for our food (Party of 7)."

"My husband and I went for our Anniversary! We were not disappointed. We started with The calamari and it was delicious. I had the Fanara Alla Mare. Very tasty! They give you good size portions. My husband had the Sunday sauce special and he said it was good. Our waitress Nicole was very friendly. I would definitely recommend Fanara’s and I know we will be back!"

"Variety!. Originally, I did not have very high hopes for Buffalo when it came to Indian Food. I have had some very good experiences in the past and moving to a new city made me skeptical of what could really be offered.<br/>My family and I mistakenly came across Taste of India on a search for an appropriate place to eat for a birthday dinner. There are many palates to please in my family; including vegetarian.<br/>Upon initial review of the menu, the range of which was far beyond anything I was expecting, and far beyond anything I have seen before. The service was about par. Nothing worth commenting on. The food on the other hand is worth writing a thesis on. Absolutely fantastic! I had the Taste of India Special, which will present you with a broad variety of meats and cooking styles. The rice was fantastic and tasty. The Puri was not overly greasy, like many places are. The only negative I can come up with about 'Taste of India ' is I asked them explicitly to have them make my curry 'HOT, as hot as they like it, and then some. ' I couldn 't tell the difference between mild and spicy. I know there 's a Caucasian spice scale, but when someone wants to sweat; PLEASE make me sweat. All in all, 3.75 stars."
