"Well, what a great find! We went for a cool deal, two for the price of one to the new “Diana Carvery” which is located on the first level of the Centro commercial at the Diana Centre. The location is pretty much in the centre of the first floor, above Mini India. I have to be honest in saying that we were not holding out much hope of a decent lunch as the cool deal was two for one and only cost us 12€ for the two of us. How wrong can you be!!! We arrived at around 1-45am and were on our own. However, the place soon started to fill up. Welcomed by the owner a very nice and polite lady who gave s a choice of tables. Our menu and drinks arrived and the best house wines we have ever had. For our starter, my better half ordered a goat’s cheese salad and I had the chicken pate with pear. They were both delicious and devoured without a word between us. Other than “Ohh” “AHH” how’s yours this is excellent, mine is terrific!!!!! Our host only came over to check we were happy and quickly left us to enjoy our starter. Now the main is a carvery style, service with a good choice between Carved turkey, shepherd’s pie, creamy chicken and prunes and something else I can’t remember. A good selection of fresh vegetables also available to accompany the choice of main. The thing is, you can go back as many times as you like and fill your plate until you are full. But, be careful, and leave room for dessert, I had the key lime pie and it was absolutely delightful. My better half could not manage a desert which was a shame as all were home made on the premises as was everything on the menu, and it showed. The chicken pate was awesome. I would not hesitate to recommend the Diana Carvery. It is great value and the quality of food is much higher end. We paid 12€ for the two of us and only 11.20€ for four good glasses of wine, to be honest it was embarrassing considering what we got. I would be more than happy to pay full price and even that would be fantastic value."

"A little far from the center, perfect street, quiet, the food is very well prepared, the very good service, friendly and attentive staff. on Wednesday night, we were able to listen to flamenco (of the good). all perfect, to repeat without a doubt."

"Very well prepared pasta meals. Arrived late, the restaurant was quiet but we were unhurried and had a very enjoyable dinner. We ordered a couple of glasses of wine which turned out to be very expensive. Our fault for not asking."

"This was a charming place with fabulous spits. we had the chicken parrots as an appetizer and they were delicious. my man and I had the lamb tajine with cousin, the lamb was generous and fall out of the bone juice. our waiter was lalo and he was very attentive and offered each of us free liking at the end of our meal. very recommended madubar."

"We went here on a tapas night with our family and friends. The had previously recommended La. Albariza to us. We ordered various dishes to share all of which were delicious ,. The pez espada(sword fish) was excellent. It was quite late in the night but they were very happy to serve us. The prices were very reasonable and the bar had a great atmosphere. This place can be found at the top end of Tres banderas , which is near the port of estepona going up the hill opposite the lighthouse. It 's really worth the bother to find if you like typically Spanish bars."

"Have have lived in Estepona for 2 years and visited this restaurant numerous times since we have been local. We visited last week after having not been since just after Christmas and we noticed the difference immediately. There used to be several really lovely waiters who'd welcome you into the restaurant, seat you and take your drinks order. Plates were not left on your table for longer than a minute or two and they would come and top up your drinks or offer you more all with a delightful smile and lots of good humour. Sadly, these delightful men are no more and we are left with 2 sour faced Chinese women who do not speak any English at all (I speak Spanish but this is Estepona and there are more Brits than Spaniards). The women do not greet you or seat you, they just about pop over for your first drinks order although if you want another one you will have to go to the bar to order it. Plates are not cleared and you have to go to the bar to pay your bill. We returned for a second time for lunch today and I asked where the lovely guys who had worked there and was told they cut the staff. Well, they need them back they are not busy, the food quality and the dining experience is now ghastly. A terrible shame. We won't be coming back anytime soon."
