"Or how to put a night and a day to digest a meal! !Already when you arrive close to this restaurant, you notice that the windows of the restaurant are dirty, as soon as you pass the door, you are assailed by a odor of graillon.... or grease if you prefer, fat that you find everywhere. .vitres, painting etc...After the decor, you love or not, but frankly a good refreshment and a young shot will not hurt....Friendly welcome and coming, top, nothing to say. .for the meal, the quality is not at the rendezvous and frankly the quantities are too important and I am a good eater. Take an example of the aperitif, I chose a home American, the waiter explains that he puts all the wines cooked at his disposal in a large glass! !!! actually the glass is very large, filled with a slice of lemon coarsely cut and idem for the Orange. you drink this and you no longer thirst for the meal. The main dish, a combo snack!!! from the green salad, a hot dog sausage, a hot dog andouillette, 4 slices of cantal and a cornet of fries. Gargantuesque. And dessert. a cardinal made home, which I doubt. She's still a huge part. .on can't enjoy a meal when you go out of the table reput up to thirsty. .so actually it is cheap, 44 euros for two, but frankly the doubtful hygiene makes that I do not recommend this restaurant. ..."

"We'd reserved, so our table for two was ready and we liked the ambience: smart casual, contemporary. The welcome was friendly and efficient. Reassuringly fairly brief menu, good wine list. Partner felt confident enough to order steak. I chose the beef daube and a bottle of Pic St. Loup to go with both. Food arrived, nicely presented; I held my breath while partner tried the steak (always a gamble in France! and she pronounced it excellent. My daube was just fabulous: tender, garnished with al dente root vegetables and small salad, with a separate bowl of fresh tagliatelle liberally sprinkled with Parmesan. The daube's sauce was sublime perhaps a hint of star anise? delicious and intriguing. The wine was superb. We shared a pud, something involving rhubarb, raspberries, pannacotta and a crisp biscuit base. A very good meal in relaxed surroundings at a very proper price, the kind of thing we still struggle to get right in the UK."

"We were here for lunch. Since they had a few tables left on their terrase we had the luck to sit outside on a beautiful day. The terras has not much charme - but you enjoy the fresh air and the sun...We chose the "menu du jour" with a salmon tartare as apetizer and then a dish of plaice with nori algue and crispy vegs. To go with this we had their white Viognier. All was excellent. The service was very good. The food was the best we've had this week in France. I'd recommend this place and will return on my next visit in Issoire, a lovely town in the center of the Auvergne."
