"Delicious burgers at a really good price. Although I'm on a strict diet, they could take something delicious for me. they have a vegetarian burger, with the possibility, it is also vegan. "Northern Peruvian cuisine has some similarities with Lima cuisine but, its different. It is like whiskey from Scotland and somewhere else. This restaurant focuses on the classics from Northern Peru: duck, goatling/kid and grouper. Prices are similar to a nice upper average restaurant in Miami or NY. It is expensive because the ingredients are brought daily from the North.Bar is very nice and well supplied. Coming back."

"We came here for a romantic dinner and tried the 8 course meal. The kitchen is all open so you can see what goes on behind the scene.Every dish was rich with flavour and a real unique mix of different Peruvian/fusion ideas like guinea pig (cuy) foie gras or rabbit with chocolate sauce with cheese risotto. Sounds strange, but it's good.Definitely worth it and recommend for a romantic gourmet meal in Lima."

"We went there maybe three times over a two-week period. There will be delays for larger groups, so keep that in mind. I don’t know how they operate at nights/weekends, but it was a good choice at lunch time, ranging from Italian food to pizza....It was fairly priced. The crust was thin, but I have had better ones. Overall it was a pleasant experience to the point we returned there."

"Me and my girlfriend have been traveling in South America for 3 months now and have experienced a wide variety of cuisines on this continent. We also have had experience of many cuisines in Europe, my partner being Greek/Bulgarian and myself Western European, we love our food and if it doesn't meet our standards we are reluctant to eat. This has made our journey in Ecuador and Peru difficult when finding food to eat, for my girlfriend in particular who has quite the sensitive stomach! When we found Aji Lima, owned and run by Jose Armando we were overjoyed. He showed us his kitchen and I am yet to see a cleaner place in South America, it was literally spotless. The toilets as well are probably the cleanest in all the land! It is a small, but relaxed atmosphere and Jose puts very pleasant music on from all parts of the world... it was very welcoming indeed!Run by just two other staff members, who were just as friendly and welcoming, we enjoyed Ceviche (a Peruvian seafood dish made with fish cooked solely through a chemical process of lemon, salt and chili) which was outstanding. My girlfriend was reluctant at first with her sensitive stomach but she tried and quickly found it to be to her taste as well and it was quickly finished. We also had an opportunity to try on another occasion a pasta dish with mixed seafood (mariscos) which was just as tasty although a little less exotic than the ceviche!We went a third time for pescado a la plancha, I guess best described as grilled fish, with little oil. This was fantastic, he let us try a couple different fish which had very different flavors and textures, it was a joy. He explained to us that he goes very early in the morning to the market to find the best quality fish, if you ask he is very happy to accompany it with some great South American vegetables. We are not big meat eaters but he also provides lamb, chicken and goat. For strict vegetarians he also has salads on the menu and seems very flexible to what he prepares. Jose explained to us that he studied in Valencia, Spain for 5 years and after was preparing dishes in five star restaurants but decided to go back to his home of Lima to work in a more modest and relaxed environment, and I can only say the people in his neighborhood are extremely lucky for this decision!The prices were very reasonable, locals and foreigners paying the same. Menu of the day is 16 soles, getting you a starter, main and dessert. Prices for specific dishes vary depending on the fish etc. but for the quality they are very good prices.Thanks again Jose and wish you all the best!"

"It is inside the University, it doesn't have an address that you can put in a gps. Waiters are not used to tourist so don't ask for recommendations. An Uber from Miraflores can be around $25.00, expensive for Lima. Other than that, food is delicious!"
