"A nice, clean, bright place to eat at noon relaxed and quiet. we opted for two first: spider macaroni and gnocchi cream and ham. both very good. the choice of first and salads is vast. with mineral water and coffee we spent 41 francs in two. Notice to Italians: remember that we are in Swiss and mineral water and coffee are an important part of the account."

"We were looking for an upscale dinner and decided on La Rucola. Made reservations. We were able to park at the hotel which was convenient. As we entered the lobby, we were escorted to our table. Service was polite and efficient. I had a club sandwich and my wife had a tempura coated fish with vegetables. Desert, we shared Black Forest cake. We walked down to the lake following dinner then back to our condo. Well done!"

"We had the set menu the first night and a la carte the next. Both evenings the food was delicious. The view from the window seats is gorgeous especially as darkness falls and the lights over the lake come on. The service was wonderful - you certainly felt special. The courses were plentiful and there was no hurry at any point during the meal - the first night we were there 2 and a half hours! Against - well the portions are small and although the food is excellent it is expensive. The fact we went twice however says it all!!"
