"What a special place near Paia and/or on the way to the road to Hana. You need a reservation here, although it wasn't a house when we stopped on Friday. The hotel is located in a reused general business, this place is full of charm. Make sure to see a back space filled with art from local artists. Always love a place that supports the local art community. Our server Betty was the best in class. She was knowledgeable, passionate and infectious. If you are happy enough to be served by her, you are in good hands! Chef Beverly Gannon deserves all the awards you will see on the walls because their creations are delicious. The menu has some of their dishes they say that you find nowhere else, but we did not try to give you a review. Ask what they are if they tickle your imagination. We had the crab pizza (discovered and delicious), the Paniolo BBQ ribs (wonderful) and the Chopped Chinese Chicken Salad (refreshing and crisp). We really enjoyed everything. We hope to be back to Maui during our next trip."

"Our friend had told us about this building market when we visited maui in 2010. we enjoyed it then and had stopped on this trip December 2012. it seemed that this time around the market was even smaller with less providers - under 10. most providers sell fresh seasonal products such as island fruits and some sweet. Not much go, but it is a relaxed little place in a great small town center. they could go up and down the street to check the other shops or a bite in one of the caffes. the market is set up on Wednesday and Saturday in a small amount."

"The first time we went service was totally first class. They waitress was super attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and they we were good to go. This time the waitress we had was not very attentive at all. She was robotic with no real energy or personality injected into the service she offered. Not at all the 1st class experience that we had the first time. The food was Luke warm, and the original turkey dish, the Turkey was dry and the mashed potatoes, along with the vegetables was also Luke warm. They remade our plates, but the veggies were still not warm. Not at all the experience we had from before. It will be a long while before we attempt to come back."
