"Located in an old chapel with some very tastefully designed modern features, La Chapelle provides an excellent, luxury Michelin star experience. The staff is knowledgable (especially the sommelier maitre) and functions absolutely impeccable throughout. The atmosphere is slightly posh, but in a nice, not too formal way. We found the cuisine creative, surprising and tasteful with the exception of the duck main course, which was unfortunately far from tender. Ah well, you win some, you lose some. It's all part of the game. We absolutely loved our dinner here and found it worth its considerable price tag."

"With regard to the meal, the value for money was good, the kitchen being even very good for a restaurant that does not pay a mine at first. But for me everything was ruined by the fact that there were too many people in a medium-sized room not soundproofed. I went out with bad ears."

"This is just across the road from the B+B hotel we stayed in so was very convenient. We actually ended up here by default as our first choice restaurant was closed! Our French is very basic so we did struggle a little to understand which of the price options to go for but we went with the 'all inclusive ' at about 18 Euros each I think. We each had a small pitcher of wine of our choice, a starter, main and sweet. (Not sure if we got coffee as well but didn 't go for it anyway) The starters were very good, lots of cold meats, salads, cheese. The main course was either chicken, sausage or fish, good sized portions with potatoes or chips and vegetables of your choice. Good, basic food served canteen style. We both had the chicken which was tasty. The sweets were fairly ordinary with several milk based sweets such as rice pudding, flan and the like or several different types of cake. There was plenty of choice and they were well prepared. It was all self service and the tables were set out canteen style but there were several for 4 people. The tables were regularly cleared and everything was clean. We didn 't feel rushed at all. Gourmet food it was not but it was tasty, good quality and good value for money in comparison to other meals we had had whilst travelling through France. There were several families with children there and it was very suitable for them. We would certainly go again if we were in the area."
