"Update mai 2022: name changed by manimez to vegetannis. there is also another vegetarian restaurant a few blocks away called monimez (not a mistake). nothing has changed except the name. currently costs the meal of the day 13.500 pesos. today's meal included saw the swirl soup, a glass juice, a tiny dessert and the top plate that contains an salat, cosney, baked aubergine with melted cheese top and a flower cabbage croquette. there is still the possibility to add a part of chicken or fish to their food for an additional cost. Apart from the cheese that was melted on the aubergine, there was almost no protein throughout the meal. it was very delicious. as mentioned below, they pay first at the cash register and then take their entry to the counter. - update 2018: some of the best veggie food in town. 9.000 pesos from november 2018. truly deserves 5 stars, but can only give 4 because they serve fish. large portions of delicious food. eating here was pretty good at the day I left. the current price for lunch of the day is 7200 pesos (juni 2014). doubling this when they want the meal of the day, plus a part of the fish. this place is not 100% vegetarian, but only about 20% of the customers seemed to order the optional fish. I went on Saturday afternoon and the place was full. They go to the counter and pay first, they give them a number, and then they supply the food to their table (which seemed about 15 minutes a day I went). but it was worth waiting. the plate lacked color, and it would have been nice to have some dark green veggies to balance the dinge. the dining room is very pleasant. this place is overall a section over the rest and only a little more expensive. updated by previous review on 2018-11-03"

"We were looking for a restaurant to refill our power before not easy trek to Laguna Otun and we found a beautiful place with magnificent views of the mountains and Pereira. From the first moment we knew it was the right place. All employees were absolutely professional, they helped us choose food, recommend us some beautiful places around and after 10 minutes we were best friends and share our stories with their recommendations about Colombia and through the mouth of the cook that came to explain how from where our steak came and how he prepared and his experiences from all over the world. Favian stayed at us and with these two guys (Favian and Alonso-Koch) we spend beautiful and relaxed evening with the best steak in my life. Accompaniment with food is included salad buffet, where you will find all kinds of vegetables, fruit, sweet platanos, ceviche de mango,... todo. We had a second dinner there after arrival!"

"They do a daytime set menu and and then things go a la carte when they re-open at 4 pm till 9. Friendly staff, good food, relaxed atmosphere. Excellent. (PLUS, not sure how often this happens but there a guy playing excellent Spanish Guitar too) A must visit for Vegans in Pereira."
