"Ordered a family takeout from this place over the weekend. The chicken Malay curry was quite decent, but mild… Slightly a letdown. The roti-and-curry-chicken combo was delicious and quite good. But the best was the rice – yes, the plain rice. It was just divine...and delicious! Next time, I am going to order a huge portion of this plain rice for takeout."

"Good Small town Chinese Food restaurant. The food is well prepared and tasty. If you're looking for a quick Chinese takeout place then this is the place. The dining area is plain and bare bones but passable. Nothing fancy but the food makes up for it."

"I've been ordering from this place for over a decade and they have been consistently great. I'm not sure if it's the best Chinese in Richmond Hill, but it's the best bang for the buck by far. And the cashier lady has a crazy good memory. She always remembers who you are and what you ordered before."

"Overall, one of the better Chinese restaurants in the area. Service is prompt and generally friendly. On this visit we had tofu and grouper in a hotpot. A little more fish and a little less dried tofu would have made the dish perfect. Also a stir fried beef with vegetables ( Gai Lan) the beef was evenly cooked and quite tender, without the rubbery texture that sometimes happens at other places."

"Ming Cuisine is a higher end Chinese that opened up recently in Richmond Hill.<br/ <br/ The restaurant though smallish but nicely decorated. Love the blue and white theme instead of all those glittering gold. <br/ <br/ Lunch Special $8.99 includes soup, spring roll and a noodle/rice dish. There are snacks and sides for around $5 which is great to share.<br/ <br/ Since I arrived for a late lunch, their usual double boiled soup 炖湯 was gone but replaced by fish maw soup which was good and supposed to be healthy too.<br/ <br/ For main I ordered Rice in Lotus Leaf 秘製荷葉飯. It does take awhile to arrive as they all made to order. The portion is huge! Great to share.<br/ <br/ Definitely worth coming for lunch. The special order menu can be quite interesting. Just make sure you call for reservations!"

"We should have asked to see the menu before being seated. The menu is way too big and so badly translated that it's hard to understand. The food was awful too -- sweet and sour soup very sweet, and the main dish we ordered was very dry and mostly vermicelli with a couple of thin strips of dried out beef on top -- we wondered later if it was meant to have chicken broth in it. I gave it one star only because of its location."

"Yummy Thai food in RHThis place is small and really busy during pick time. I've tried Pho and soft shell crab with noodles. Soft shell crab ? was just small one crab but it was yummy but the noodle it comes with didn't have a big impact as i expected.But I enjoyed tender beef pho and their dried chicken wing."
