"This place is just wonderful! I'm always searching for healthy food when I travel, and this was such a sweet surprise in Salento. I ate there two days in a row (and would have gone back again, had I not had to leave), and the food was amazing. The staff is super sweet, and I love the atmosphere (cozy, great music). Just love, love, love this spot. Try the Buddha Bowl and the quiche! Oh my!"

"We've been to this restaurant twice now and both times it exceeded our expectations on every level. The service is magical without it being overbearing and the food is just delicious and consistently good. Being a veggie I had the veg lasagne both times and it was perfect. I tried the brownie tonight and it was by far one of the best brownies I've ever had, rich, moist and gooey without being dense, do not miss it! Sadly we leave tmrw but we will remember this place for all the right reasons. Thank you Team Makao"

"This place was so damn good we ate lunch there and then went back for dinner and ate the same thing again. You get a soup, a huge plate of food, and a juice, all for 8,000 pesos. And every bite was delicious!!"

"Our innkeeper recommended Donde Laurita for Colombian food, and it seemed popular with the locals eating there, but it turned out to be a poor choice for us. We both ordered trout, for which the town is famous. Had we ordered the grilled trout with...no seasoning, this review might be different. Instead, we went with more typical preparations, which turn out to be heavy cream sauces (one with almonds, the other with mushrooms) that stifled the flavor of the fish and were not themselves tasty or tasty-looking. A small typical salad was served before the fish, but no vegetables were available even as a side dish. The setting is filled with vintage devices (sewing machines, vinyls, cameras) that give the restaurant charm, and the service was friendly and solicitous. However, we ended up not liking the fish enough to finish our servings and leaving a little hungry. We decided there were better places in town to try the trucha"
