"I ate here on route to Geneva airport. It is convenient for the main road from Evian to Geneva and there is parking right outside. I had my disabled mother with me. I went in to check whether they had disabled facilities and I got first class service from the moment I walked in with my enquiry. They had disabled toilet facilities and they opened a door especially to save having to negotiate several steps and uneven floors which is really important for my mother. Inside it is decorated in a typical French/Swiss farmhouse chalet style. The walls are adorned with interesting old farm implements and old photos. We sat in an open terraced area on a balmy summers evening which was lovely. The food was good, we both had local fish which was served with a selection of fresh vegetables and potatoes. Both very nice dishes, just not superb. I finished with a cafe gourmand which is a selection of four smaller portions of dessert with a coffee. Usually a great choice but having two chocolate puddings out of four was a little disappointing. Chocolate panecotte, chocolate mousse, vanilla ice cream and a min raspberry fruit tart and cream and none of them particularly special. Overall my four star rating was because of the service which was attentive but not intrusive and just old fashioned good manners such as having doors held open for us. The food was definitely good enough to warrant a second visit, the location good for travellers and the service excellent. Thank you."
