"Southfield Grill is one of my favorite places to eat. I enjoy the food. It is prepared as close to a meal at home as possible. This is always delicious, and the service is the best. Thank you for a pleasant visit every time."

"Absolutely awful ????. My daughter bought lunch for her Dad and I (Mom), and was so excited to be able to financially afford her parents a healthy, fast food meal. When her Dad drove to get our meals, the employees were not friendly, did not greet him upon walking in to the establishment, and when Dad asked the workers about an order for our daughter, they did not say a word to him but just reached out their hand and held out our order. Dad asks the workers if there were drinks, they shrugged their shoulders and then replied No ...which was incorrect. When Dad arrived home with food, it was just a soggy, awful mess! AND, they DID forget our chips/drinks. We called back to speak to the manager, and we were told she was gone. We were asked what was wrong with our food, and when I told her what was forgotten from our order, she rudely interrupted me, told me Since there ain 't nothing wrong wit your food, we can 't refund THAT. At that time I only asked for my forgotten items; but when she rudely told me we have to come back for forgotten items and would not even allow me to speak about the sandwiches being inedible, I told her to JUST forget it. ALL of THAT rude attitude made the 2 bites out of my sandwich even more horrible than it originally tasted! I want my daughter 's money back to her... THIS was a terrible experience! I didn 't even dare take pics of what the other 2 sandwiches looked like, worse than mine (pictured below) We ordered less on wet condiments for a reason... instead, we got MORE!!!!!"

"I like the lot options like cubed tofu and olives, it’s different than Chipotle. However, this place lacks serious flavor. The hottest salsa is like tomato sauce and do not even get me started on the guacamole... it was horrible."

"Realistically I cannot think of one honest thing to criticize this fine establishment over. I've been eating here for years now, the food is wonderful, cooked fresh to order. Prices are more than affordable, with lunch getting you a soup, egg roll and entree for around ten dollars per person. The atmosphere is wonderful, staff incredibly friendly, and despite always being packed I've never had to wait to be seated. Hands down when Chinese is on the table the first thought is always Imperial Cathay. There are a lot of other good Chinese restaurants in Shreveport, but this place is the best. If that ever changes, I'll be sure to update this review, considering I so very rarely hand out five stars. A resistant has to truly be near-perfect to hold that ranking in my book. Don't ever change, Imperial Cathay! As far as recommendations go, the orange chicken and the combination low mein are my personal favorites. With the chicken chowder as the soup. Along with all the fried wontons you can eat."

"It tasted as if it was cooked by Americans trying to imitate Chinese cuisine. I saw that many people said this was the best Chinese restaurant in Shreveport. If that's the case, I'll never try the rest. Crab? Rangoon didn't taste like it had an ounce of crabs in it and the sour cream cheese they use is definitely something cheap from brand. The roasted rice was absolutely nasty and very salty. I'm also used to having vegetables in my fried rice. The only one in the rice is here and there are fried egg pieces. I had to add duck sauce to fried rice to make it pale. I would not dare to add soy sauce to fried rice unless you want to end up in one of the local emergency rooms in a hypertensive crisis from an overload of sodium. The 2-star rating was because the sesame chicken tasted well. I doubt very much that I would apply this business again. Especially, pay $35.06 (Doordash) and have higher expectations than what I received. Honestly, if I had taken the time to read the other reviews before I ordered from this restaurant, I wouldn't have protected the business at all. Hindsight is always 20/20."
