"Excellent family run small Chinese resto. We only ordered the Wor Won Ton soup, which was AMAZING AMAZING! I very highly recommend this one! Full of bbq pork, tons of vegetables, seafood, and won tons. The broth is delicious, better than many of the reviews I’ve done for comparable restos on the mainland. Very good number of won tons are given, so no worries there. Actually we were completely stuffed with just one bowl each, it is big (portion size is excellent). Very fast and nice service, and appears very popular with the locals, there was lots of customers in and out. Definitely a great place to go when in Sooke for won tons! We will need to try more dishes at some point!"

"Delicious morning glor muffin and coffee and the price is under $5 with a tip! Small tearoom where you can enjoy your snack or sandwich in a calm environment, no blaring noise which suits me! The owner/operators are very friendly too!"

"My husband I go to the 17 Mile about once a month. The food and the service is always terrific. The biggest problem for people trying to find the pub is that the road has changed! When you are coming from Victoria look for the Gillespie Road turnoff, make that right and when you get to the pub have the garlic prawns or the beef dip, the fantastic seafood chowder or anything else from the menu and you will not be disappointed!!"
