"As luck would have it my all time favourite Wednesday off from work this week involved amazing food. After a superb breakfast at THE BEACH SHED followed by a large walk up Long Reef headland and back I was asked if I would like to review a WOK ON INN venue. Last week WOK ON INN opened a new store in Zetland and the fantastic peeps offered to shout me lunch at any store so I could check it all out, and not one to shy away from food, off I plodded, the plodding part was amazing, caught the ferry from Manly to the city in the sun so I could feast at their Rocks venue and then ferry back."

"This family run cafe is the best ! It has an amazing vibe, great food and coffee and the service was awesome. We spent a couple of days in The Rocks In October after Lock down and found this place by chance for breakie as our Hotel was not offering the buffet breakfast due to being open only a couple of days post covid lockdown. We loved it so much that we went back the 2nd day for breakfast. The staff, especially the front of house guy sorry we did not get his name were awesome. Why bother looking for a new place for breakfast when we enjoyed our first so much. Hopefully the business will pick up again now that we are out of lockdown. Well worth having breakfast at Brew Cafe"

"Awesome dumplings, i had veg dumplings though they have only one in veg but still worth trying and baked mushroom tofu dish is super yummy. They are quick in serving, quiet good customer service for both in house our take away orders. My friends had some lamb buns and they like it too. For all veggies I must say, go for it if you are a dumplings fan.
Cheers!!!"

"Had lunch there recently. Good, pleasant service and big portions! We went for individual plates rather than sharing, though shared a flat bread and hummus (which was good) before the main. Two minor quibbles, when asked about an ingredient I would expect the waitstaff at a place of this calibre to offer to go and ask if they didn't know. I had to ask her to ask, which she did willingly, just surprised I needed to ask. My companions had the beef and the spatchcock and they were both excellent. I went for the macaroni and cheese which was fine, but a tad overcooked. Good lunch though and I would happily go there again."

"We had to wait a little while to open the kitchen, but this was made clear from the beginning what was a big service. when the breakfast / brunch arrived very soon, it was great, very fresh a good money worth."

"Internationally Excellent I've been here several times though this is the first reviewing this establishment. I've often visited this establishment for work conferences whether it be business lunch Meeting or a casual drinks night. The ambiance is excellent. The staff are terrific and friendly. The beer... well the names are hard cause they are international but hey.... they taste great."

"I don't know about you but for me a satisfying dining experience is as much about the atmosphere as it is about the food (your dining partner is kinda important too right? but that's another story :)).Scarlett Restaurant is one of those places that delivers nicely on the atmospherics creating an easy intimacy so complementary to breaking bread with another. There's nothing precious or pretentious going on here - just a smaller footprint (read: fewer tables/guests), soaring ceilings (read: sense of openness), two-tiered layout (read: interesting design) a non-invasive service style .... and terrific, thoughtfully presented food. We didn't have a dish that was anything but excellent, including an eye-catching "smoking" Prawn & Lobster 'Raviolo' in a kombu broth. And as other contributors have pointed out - the Truffle & Cheddar Fries are unique. Mind you, the meal didn't lose anything in the Mille Feuille (hazelnut, pistachio, lemon, velouté) finish. And if you're an Accor member (as I am) your guest dines for free at this establishment. A comment about the wine list: Others have written that there are no wines under $50 (and none over $88 by the way). That's true. But what is also true is I researched several of the wines on the list and they were each excellent wines from excellent vintages, and retailing for between $25 to $30. So the mark up is not excessive by any standard and there appears to be no "fillers" ie cheaper and lesser quality wines to fill a price point. I think most diners would choose to have the wine they would enjoy to drink. A really enjoyable all-round product. It goes onto my short-list.PS Catch a boutique beer beforehand from the super little pub two doors down (corner of Argyle St) - they make all their beers on the premises downstairs - my favourite is #4."

"Please do yourself a favour and do not get butter chicken and rice from here. I got it and I had severe food poisoning, with a fever and chills. The food must have not been kept at an optimal temperature and therefore encouraged bacteria growth. I have been sick for the past few days and it’s still going and the only thing I can account it to is my meal here."

"Let me start this review by stating that I am completely biased when it comes to the Phillip's Foote Family Restaurant, having worked there whilst on my holiday breaks at University. I absolutely love Phillip's Foote: from the snug little front bar; to the cobblestone steps leading up to the BBQ's; to the meat and salad station up the very top. I imagine that not many people in the Hospitality Industry would love/d their place of employment, but I did. I particularly loved being fed in between shifts. I'd cook a steak on the BBQ (mainly the marinated rump steak) and help myself to a decent portion of salad. Phillip's Foote holds such an endearing place in my memory. My family and I have returned to Phillip's Foote many times to celebrate family occasions. It's such a great place."

"Worst dinning experience...Ever!. After being told our table would be ready at 8:15 (the time in which we had booked), we were seated at a table for 4 even though we had booked for a party of 6.
We then waited another 15mins for the wait staff to direct us to an empty table capable of seating 6 which had been empty since the moment we entered.
The waiter was inatentive and spent more time at the front desk then seeing to any customers.
On the rarest occasion that he would pass our table we would flag him down in an effort to finally order.
2 hours after placing our order the food had finally arrived. All the meat and sides were cold. I had ordered a rump steak with a marble score of 9 to be cooked medium rare. To be fair the meat was cooked medium rare. However I have had far superior cuts of rump at the local pub and even coles or woolies provide better cuts of meat. After struggling to cut through the steak i had decided to disect the slab of carcass before me, only to find that a quarter of the stake was pure fat and gristle and the what was left of i,t had so much sinue running through the meat that the knife could not separate it.
Highly dissatisfied with the food and the service.
They are charging a ridiculous amount of money for the quality of their food and service. The night and money would have been far better spent up the road at Rockpool Bar & Grill. Where for the same price you are waited on hand and foot and the food is not only fantastic, but served in timely manner. Avoid at all costs. I rate The Cut Bar & Grill 0/5
Unfortunately zomato wont upload a 0 score.
Buyers definitely beware."
