"21/12/2021 Just a heads up. We have been back twice since the first time. All I can say is never disappoints. Got to sit outside with the lovely view. Loved the front bar atmosphere every time we have gone. I have to say when I walked it didn't have much going for it. Well it's true never judge a book by its cover. I think her name was Annette in the front bar was great. Very friendly and insightful. Told us the history of the hotel and the ghost in room 11. It was quiet, but the atmosphere was perfect. Simple counter pub meal. Chicken Schnitzel and chips. When it came out, it didn't look special. Nothing to write home about. It looked like every other Schnitzel I have had in the past. Well I was wrong. It was juicy, full of flavour and the gravy was perfect as well. The chips might looked undercooked but they were not. It's because the oil was clean and not old and dirty. At the end of the meal she came back over to us and provided a tip on places to go. The whole experience was worth my 5 stars. We are already talking about going back."

"My wife and I came across this hidden gem while looking for wineries. We arrived without a booking and despite the restaurant being quite busy the friendly staff fitted us in. The coffee was some of the best I have had in Canberra and the...service was efficient and friendly. My wife had the zucchini fritters and I had the beef pie the food was excellent we will definitely be back and perhaps next time it will be breakfast."

"This is now the Cornucopia Hotel. Nice friendly pub restaurant providing good quality pub food at reasonable prices. We enjoyed our seafood dishes. Service was friendly and prompt."
