"An exceptional adventure tour through the culinary arts of the star kitchen. Every gang a little work of art! We chose the 6 course menu with wine tasting. The size of the individual courses was very clear, but there was 2 x a greeting from the kitchen and excellent bread throughout the evening. The seating area is spacious and quiet, but we were very irritated about the narrowness in the entrance area and on the way to the seating area, where almost the entire staff is strolling and the bread is also cut and stored. Distance to corona times is almost impossible here. The mouth and nose protection of the operating personnel is of small size and actually consists only of a tiny piece of plastic, so that one should either speak of mouth or nose protection. There's a big depreciation for that. It can't be. The chefs in the open cooking area obviously have no mouth and nose protection, but also no separation, so that there is also a relative proximity to the remaining staff and also to the guests. P.S. The cook was supposed to be pampering, constantly pushing his fingers into his mouth."

"We know the place and love visiting it every now and then. The staff is very friendly and helpful, flexible in changes of the menu. Prices are ok, taste is good and you can find traditional Greek dishes. Luckily we found a table as it...was once more very busy. I will surely come back again"

"Wir waren zur Tomahawk (1kg Steak) Aktion da.Voller Freude habe ich das Tomahawk medium mit Pfannengemüse bestell.Was dann kam war eine Katastrophe. Steak kam fast roh und das Pfannengemüse war ein Witz, denn es bestand fast nur aus Frühlingszwibel und glich eher einer schwarzen Pampe. Was wir nicht wusten, dass das Steak mit heißem Stein serviert wird, dieser kam dann erst nach dem wir das Steak bemängelten. Die ganze Aktion wurde dann auch sehr hektisch mit Geschäftsführer und 100 mal Entschuldigung. Absolutes "NO GO"Der Service wirkte überfordert und schlecht abgestimmt."

"There is no better place to eat burger in Essen. You can add a lot of delicious sauces and other sites. But you have to know, at a good place like this you cant make a reservation =) So, take your friends, a little bit time and a beer and you will be in heaven."

"The istra turns visibly to a publicly raised age. there were my man and I were probably outside the target group. but also so I can't win it off: the plant comes from the 70s/80s and the toilets have not been renovated since then. I had an American teller or similar, my man a T-Bone steak for proud 23 €. meat hard, tasteless and sweetly decorated. the sauces were finished, like large parts of the salats der bach alt, the baked carrots half cold, the croquettes of course also from the bag and completely tasteless. the service was ok. for this price an unhealthy. we will not go back."

"Great concept I have never experienced something so dark before. You really couldn't see your hand in front of your face. A great experience and the dark really got quite oppressive. It certainly makes you stop and think. They had really thought about the...food to make it interesting, yet still able to be eaten. The quality was average, but I guess we were there for the experience rather than a toprate meal. I would go back"
