"In the middle of January, we went to this restaurant to celebrate my grandma's birthday. I have not been at Silky Apple before, but mum and grandma both enjoyed meals here sometimes.The welcome was very warm, friendly and we had nice conversations with some of the staff.We were very hungry so we went straight into ordering mains: garlic prawns, prawns with wasabi cream and a chicken & vegetable dish.Wow!The tastes of these meals were fantastic! We very much enjoyed every single bite and cleared out all the plates :)After a little bit of pleasant, relaxing times we then decided to try 2 different desserts. We let the waiter know and we were very excited to finish up with our delicious dinner with a bit of sweet.We waited for quite awhile.The staff was continuously passing by a few times clearing up tables around us, helping other customers choose their meals which was fine. We weren't in a hurry. Although we needed to keep reminding them that we'd like to order dessert. It seemed that they forgot that a few times.Finally we ordered our desserts.It took awhile to actually have our sweets on the table which was strange, as our main meals arrived quite at a good time after ordering.Desserts were delicious too though! When we decided to leave, I quickly went down to the reception area to pay.What I didn't like is, that I felt pressured by the staff to give extra tip.The restaurant is not cheap. We came for a little celebration and the meals we had were absolutely worth it, not to mention the fun gramma had for her birthday!Usually I'd give a tip because I want to, not because I need to.This left a bit of sour taste in my mouth.In the future, I'd definitely revisit this restaurant to give it another chance to earn my high stars, as the food was truly tasty"

"Just love it !!!! Food is good ,some times is excellent ,best quail ever ,the beef salad is extraordinaire and the duck is just a masterpiece ! I rate it by 4 just cause the decoration and the huge tables with the white ugly chairs make the reataurant look like a funeral function ."

"Surprisingly great service and they know their food!<br br/> service: define them far from the cooks to eat, but the service here was always so friendly and friendly. we have taken along here and even scattered with a big group. there is an older man waiter who is a character. he sung us all night with his gitarre and sweat. very unexpected, but so pleasant.<br br/>FOOD: sweat beside her eating is highest quality. we had no bad court here. the prices are also very reasonable and the servier sizes are generous. the brattaube here is fabulous. crispy skin, juicy flesh and full taste. the crab noodles are also a victorious like the crispy chicken substitute ribs, try the one with salted egg yolk! <br br/> decor ambience: Standard crowded chinese restaurant set up, but comfortable enough and they keep it clean. adequate number of parking spaces in front of and behind, which is handy.<br br/> kid friendly: avoid scratched space and can be very loud during the lively service time, as the restaurant is not huge. older children will be good here, they pack an ipad if parents want to eat in peace. Eat is so good!"
